CQUniversity's Bachelor of Business is an innovative course that builds foundation business and management skills and prepares you for the future world of work. The course allows you to build your knowledge, skills, and practice in your chosen profession or discipline through authentic learning experiences that develop engaged globally-aware citizens able to contribute to communities and industry. There are eight compulsory core units and a choice of one of four business discipline majors. You can then choose a second major or two minors from the business discipline providing you meet the pre-requisite requirements. The Master of Information Systems provides you the opportunity to extend your knowledge and skills in information technology, with a focus on business analysis skills at a professional level. Within this highly relevant framework you will be well prepared to contribute to future growth and change, whilst at the same time enhancing your individual advancement opportunities. This course develops your capacity to manage the functional responsibility for choosing, implementing and maintaining information systems within an organisation in any industry.

Choose from a range of minors including artificial intelligence, internet of things, mobile application development, networks and information security, project management, or software design and development and tailor your studies to suit your career goals and interests.

This course will provide you with the choice of completing an internship or project stream to contextualise your learning. Generally, the internship will be made of up a 10-week placement with a relevant organisation, with assessments completed throughout the term. Please note, internships cannot be taken at your current employer. Alternatively, the capstone stream provides the opportunity to apply your knowledge to an industry-relevant project. Projects in the capstone stream may be taken with your employer, provided other students can also participate in the same project.

The Diploma of Digital Media will prepare you to work within the digital media industries by providing practical skills and relevant theory that can be applied in a variety of fields associated with design, technology and media.

Working within multimedia computer laboratories and production studios, you will learn how to create digital media works using industry-standard software development tools and techniques.

This course will equip you with the skills to think critically, solve problems, communicate effectively and work independently in response to digital media project demands.

On completion of this course you may choose to further your skills with the Associate Degree or Bachelor of Digital Media.

This course provides an opportunity for you to extend your knowledge through coursework into project management and/or develop a research career in your relevant profession. This course focuses on both the hard technical and soft human aspects of project management. All the course materials have been aligned to the Project Management Institute (PMI) global standards and core bodies of knowledge. In the final year of the course, you can choose one of three streams; a research stream, a practicum stream, or an internship stream.

If you opt for the research stream your project can be based on either your workplace or issues that are important to your profession. The research stream will also allow you to meet the eligibility criteria to enrol in a Ph.D. program should you have a plan for an academic career as it suffices the threshold ratio of the research components in the Masters Course. The practicum is student-led and you will develop a project within a simulated company environment. Alternatively, you can opt for an internship, and if you are eligible, you will be placed at a host organisation to further develop your skills and competencies and obtain authentic experience in project management. While undertaking the qualification you will be well prepared to contribute to future growth and change in the projects you are involved in whilst at the same time enhancing your individual career advancement opportunities.

By studying the Graduate Diploma in Project Management you will undertake coursework that explores the principles of project management as based on recognised international standards, guidelines and frameworks. Examples of different project domains are explored through case studies.

Each case study will enable you to explore the application of project management closely aligned to your chosen career path. The units develop technical skills in the initiation, bidding, tendering, planning, design, procurement, execution, reporting, commissioning, hand over, and post-project support of projects.
