There are fifteen IT specialisations (minors) available through RMIT's IT degree, each offering industry-relevant subjects that reflect today’s emerging digital technologies. These subjects will develop your skills in a range of areas including, cloud computing, programming, data analysis, networking, data science, AI, bioinformatics, and business information systems.

This degree prepares you to be a locally- and internationally-aware communication designer capable of working across a range of domains and industries, including graphic design, advertising, branding and illustration consultancies, as well as design and communication units within corporate, government and non-government organisations.

You’ll learn skills alongside a strong selection peers in studio-based facilities. Throughout the degree, you will develop skills in negotiating a consensus among participants with a range of interests in the design outcome. You will also learn how a visual strategy can contribute to all phases of the problem-solving process.

This degree will give you the theoretical knowledge and practical know-how to take projects from inception to completion. It will arm you with tools to manage projects across a range of scales and complexities, and develop your skills for working on projects in various industries.

The Bachelor of Applied Science (Project Management) (Honours) was developed in response to the growing industry demand for project management skills. It is grounded in residential, commercial and industrial construction for civil, environmental and government projects.

On productions there may be many takes to produce the right shot, but it only takes one associate degree to give you the skills you need to build a career in screen and media content production.

This qualification will teach you valuable screen industry skills and knowledge in the key areas of concept development, storytelling, pre-production, production and post-production for single and multi-camera productions.

Throughout the curriculum, there is a strong emphasis on industry knowledge, collaboration, team building, creative application and professionalism. We offer a broad range of classes and screenings, as well as computer lab, location and studio-based exercises and productions.

The Bachelor of Design (Animation and Interactive Media) looks at animation in all its forms, from the animated character to motion graphics across linear and interactive environments. Presented in a creative environment, this degree focuses on intellectual investigation and conceptual development.

Upon graduating, you will demonstrate aesthetic and intellectual maturity, as well as strong technical abilities within design, media and art disciplines.
