With a focus on all aspects of screen and media production — not just standing behind the camera — one of the key features of this diploma is that in each semester you will write, produce, direct and edit screen content. This will help you to develop a strong skill set on work or further study upon graduation.

The Diploma of Screen and Media (Content Creation) provides you with skills-based training in a practical, hands-on environment. You will start your journey in the diploma and, upon successful completion, continue into the advanced diploma. 

You will develop skills and knowledge in key areas such as concept development, storytelling and all aspects of production. You will learn the importance of industry knowledge, collaboration, team building and professionalism.

On completion of the first year, you will transition to the Advanced Diploma of Screen and Media (Directing), which gives you the broad base necessary to move ahead in the screen, media, TV and film production industries. 

Graduates from this diploma will have the skills necessary to work in a variety of screen and media-based roles, ranging from cinematographers to scriptwriters.

In this dynamic, practical, industry-relevant course, you'll learn 2D and 3D design skills and the decorative aspect of design. You’ll delve into the exploration of colour, materials and finishes, interior construction techniques, soft furnishings, and fabrics and furniture. With research and practical tasks across historical and contemporary styles and trends, you’ll develop high-level documentation and technical skills in order to respond to professional briefs for both residential and commercial clients.

You'll develop a deeper understanding of commercial and residential interiors, spatial layout, furnishings and decorative treatments, and the documentation process.

As an interior designer, you will:

• Develop well-planned and functional spaces
• Decorate residential and commercial environments
• Draw sketches and produce samples of your design ideas
• Source paint colours, lighting, furniture and flooring
• Provide advice on soft and hard finishes, artwork, and accessories for an interior scheme.
• Provide on-site design and construction advice.

Through this course, your knowledge and skills will expand to allow you to create and communicate your design concepts, evaluate briefs and apply basic business skills to domestic and commercial projects.

This degree will provide you with the foundation research skills that will support your future career as a scientist or researcher.

The Diploma of Commerce is unlike any other one-year Diploma. It covers the fundamentals of business disciplines at an undergraduate level.

Designed to meet the needs of the global automotive industry, this degree develops the skills you need to take a leading role in automotive engineering design, control systems, numerical simulations, manufacturing and testing.

During your studies, you will have the flexibility to specialise in either advanced automotive design and development or automotive manufacturing.

Using contemporary engineering methods and computational and experimental tools, including advanced computer-aided engineering software such as LS-DYNA, you’ll gain hands-on experience in several state-of-the-art experimental facilities—including the full-scale Vehicle Wind Tunnel, Driverless Vehicles Lab, Green Engines Research Laboratory and Vehicle NVH Laboratory.

The Master of Engineering (International Automotive Engineering) promotes hands-on practice by incorporating a project that will enable you to apply the learned technologies to a real-world automotive system application.

This degree focuses on sustainable design and manufacturing practices based on the entire lifecycle (from 'cradle to grave') of vehicles. This incorporates the design for disposal and recycle, disassembly, lifecycle assessment, alternative fuels, and powertrains and light structures.

Through project-based learning and the exploration of real-life problems with industry peers, you’ll develop a comprehensive understanding of the product lifecycle and systems design of modern automobiles and associated technologies. You’ll also have the opportunity to complete work experience with multinational companies, enhancing your employment opportunities in the global job market. 

Work closely on your writing in an intensive studio model with world-leading lecturers and creative practitioners, improving your writing and solving problems from industry.

This degree is designed to make you confident, skilled and adaptable in today’s creative industries - where writing and editing are essential skills, and so are creativity, communication, and critical thinking.

Along with leading genres like fiction, screen and digital writing, you’ll become an adaptable writer by learning the skills to adjust to a constantly changing industry, spending deep time with your creative work, trying experiments, and gaining new knowledge. Gain the skills you need to become a technician in laboratories in hospitals, research institutes, pharmaceutical companies, private pathology and testing laboratories.

In the Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques, you will be taught to apply your knowledge of living systems to solving important practical issues including controlling disease and making the environment safer.
Using the latest industry-standard equipment, you’ll build the knowledge and skills required to work under supervision to:

• Examine micro-organisms or changes in cells and tissues
• Perform analysis of pathology, environmental and chemical samples
• Assist with research into biochemical or genetic processes.

You will also benefit from the opportunity to gain hands-on experience. Upon completion of this certificate, you may go on to work in vaccine production, food and materials testing, pathology, or research. Alternatively, you might prefer to pursue the Diploma of Laboratory Technology, or other further study of your choice.
