You'll study a combination of in-depth theoretical frameworks that make up the mechanical engineering discipline, including project planning and management. Plus, you'll learn industrial design principles and concepts like development, problem-solving and modelmaking.

The Graduate Diploma of Research Studies in Information Technology is an 80 credit point program that provides an alternative route for entry into a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) program for applicants who do not possess the required qualifications for direct admission.

The Griffith Sciences Group will be responsible for the overall supervision of the student and monitoring their progress throughout the program.

This program is designed to provide students with an opportunity to undertake advanced study and supervised research work in the specialisation defined by their undergraduate degree program within the context of a multidisciplinary cohort.

The research skills developed within this program will provide an attractive credential for students seeking employment in the public or private sectors. The program will also provide the necessary preparation for entry into a higher degree research program. The multidisciplinary context of the program, involving team-teaching of students and the sharing of coursework and seminar experiences across disciplines will be invaluable to students given the importance of a multidisciplinary approach to researchers and practitioners seeking to understand complex problems in health.

When you combine engineering and IT, you'll gain the knowledge and skills needed to plan, manage, design and build engineering projects. Majors

Visual Communication Design
Explore many different forms of visual and graphic communication and branding, and understand the social contexts and environmental responsibilities of design. You'll learn to develop design solutions, which inform, persuade, provoke, or entertain your audience. You’ll focus on your passion, but also learn how to effectively present and communicate your ideas within this evolving industry.

Interior and Spatial Design
The interior and spatial design major prepares students for a professional career across a broad spectrum of interior and spatial fields, including residential, commercial, exhibition, installation, theatre and event design.

The major prepares students to focus on diverse spaces and societies that creatively imagines interiors and public urban spaces in every domain and on every scale, from private to public, local to global. With an emphasis on social and environmental justice, designing for sustainability, liveability, diversity and inclusion are core to theory and practice. Students acquire a broad foundation of technical skills across a range of architectural and digital design programs, as well as engaging in theoretical knowledge, design process skills and analysis and critical thought. In the studios, students work on real projects preparing them for all interior and spatial design aspects inherent in professional practice.

Product Design
Can’t wait to get your hands on a 3D printer? The equipment and technology you have the chance to use at Griffith is state-of-the art and this means there are very few limits to what you can create. Undertake a range of creative projects and put our technology to the test, using 3D printing, 3D modelling, 3D scanning, laser cutting and CNC routing equipment.

This is a GRADUATE ENTRY degree. It offers graduates, who have previously completed a non-law degree or higher providing it is equivalent to a minimum of 1.5 years fulltime study and achieved a GPA of 4.0 or higher, direct entry into law at Griffith University. You'll join a law school dedicated to social justice and learn from award-winning teachers and researchers who are challenging the status quo and creating new legal knowledge, models and processes. As a student, you'll learn through hands-on experiences from year one. You'll make connections between law and ethics, legal theory, Indigenous issues, and internationalisation. You'll be engineering from day one, with a solid foundation in mathematics, computer systems, engineering principles and information systems. In your second year, you'll explore computer algorithms, object-oriented programming, business analysis, computer network essentials and more.

Your learning experience will involve practising engineers directly through your laboratory and tutorial sessions. Additionally, your teachers will draw on their professional experience in choosing lab activities, projects and/or case studies, and problems. You'll also be exposed to the realities of current industry practice through a range of field trip opportunities.

This degree integrates supervised placement experiences and coursework focused on psychological practice. You will learn how to practice professionally and ethically and to communicate and collaborate effectively as you gain skills in evaluating client needs, designing and implementing evidence-based interventions and evaluating outcomes.

This program has been designed to meet the requirements for the fifth year of a 5+1 pathway to general registration as a Psychologist. Enrolment in this program may allow you to register as a provisional Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia as part of the requirements of a 5+1 pathway and prepares you for eligibility to complete a +1 internship as a provisional Psychologist.

In this double degree, you can embrace your passion for science and learn how to analyse, model, interpret and visualise data to develop forward-thinking solutions for contemporary practical challenges.

You will pair what you learn in the lab with the practicality of your data science degree, which includes all the legal and ethical issues associated with the ways society handles and protects its information.

The Bachelor of Psychological Science will give you a thorough grounding in clinical, developmental, biological, cognitive, social and organisational psychology.

You will learn how to:

• apply psychological theories to topics such as thinking and perceiving, motivation, stress, health, criminal activity, and group behaviour;
• evaluate and understand tests that measure intellectual, behavioural and emotional states;
• use interpersonal skills and the principles of counselling to help people with personal, health, vocational and social difficulties.
