In your first year, you will be introduced to the basic sciences underpinning medical science - anatomy, chemistry, biochemistry, genes and disease, law and ethics, microbiology, physiology, and epidemiology. You will also undertake a course in "interpersonal skills" which provides you with knowledge and skills in communication and interaction with patients.

In second year, you will study these areas in greater depth and take medically focused courses in immunology, infectious disease, pharmacology, metabolism, structural biochemistry, and molecular genetics, as well as undertaking a capstone course (Integrated Medical Sciences) which integrates and applies the knowledge of basic sciences learned in your first and second years to solving clinical problems.

The Master of Marketing/Master of International Business double degree program gives graduates a unique understanding of how to market strategically and create a competitive advantage in today's global economy. The program aims to bring students to a level of maturity in their understanding and practice of scholarly work within the Computing and Information Technology area, as well as providing training in the techniques, skills and theoretical background necessary for subsequent postgraduate research.

To be awarded a Bachelor of Nursing (Honours) degree, one additional year of study is required following the successful completion of the Bachelor of Nursing.

The Graduate Diploma of Research Studies in Information Technology is an 80 credit point program that provides an alternative route for entry into a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) program for applicants who do not possess the required qualifications for direct admission.

The Griffith Sciences Group will be responsible for the overall supervision of the student and monitoring their progress throughout the program.
