This double degree enables students to gain skills and knowledge in the technical field of Computer Science as well as in a variety of subjects in Humanities and Social Sciences.

The Computer Science component emphasises comprehension of the basic principles behind computing tools, operating systems, compilers and translators, and computer hardware. You'll study the representation of data and data structures and the design of algorithms, as well as the creation of hardware and software tools and the role of non-computing elements in the design and development process.

In the Arts component, you'll choose a major and a minor from a range of disciplines, including languages, arts, history, philosophy and business. In whichever area you study, you'll develop transferable skills and in-depth knowledge, and gain the tools to think critically, communicate effectively and conduct independent research.

The Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) has been designed with consultation from industry to set you up for lifelong employability. Problems with eyesight can have a profound impact on an individual’s life. Through optometry, many vision problems and eye diseases can be corrected or managed, restoring sight to people from all walks of life.

Optometrists diagnose vision problems, eye diseases and other eye health issues. These highly skilled professionals correct poor vision and manage or slow degenerative eye diseases with corrective lenses, optical aids, therapy or medication.

The Bachelor of Vision Science/Master of Clinical Optometry provides you with the clinical skills and training required to gain registration to practice optometry. It combines the theoretical discipline of vision science with the clinical expertise of primary eye care. 

The AGSM Master of Business Administration (Executive), is a part-time national program designed for ambitious and experienced managers, executives, and professionals eager to take their career to the next level. It is designed to build strategy and leadership skills while providing a thorough grounding in core business disciplines. The MBAE is a flexible program that lets you pursue a professional interest area in dynamic study modes including weekly, intensive, and online classes.

This program is unique in its focus on intensive and residential cohort experiences that provide extensive opportunities for group learning and developing peer professional networks. AGSM MBAE  courses are designed by academics and delivered and facilitated by industry experts. The national program runs classes in Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, and Perth, allowing students to stay on top of their study when they are travelling interstate for work. There are options to take online courses that let you plan your study around your other commitments.

The Master of Engineering Science (Transport Engineering) is designed to develop skills in modelling and analysing transport systems, both passenger and freight.

You will gain deep knowledge in the planning, functional design, operation and management of transport infrastructure, with a focus on its economic and environmental impact.

The program will provide you with advanced study options including transport planning, ITS and land use and risk management and safety, through to network design, demand estimation and sustainability, emissions and health.

It aims to meet the real-world need for safe, quick, reliable and efficient transport systems that are becoming ever more important due to global population growth and urban sprawl.

The typical two-year program, sitting within the UNSW School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, comprises open-ended enquiry-based projects as well as many other opportunities to help you become a leader in the field.

You will develop a systematic approach to solving problems, as well as core project planning skills and the ability to analyse, interpret and communicate results proficiently.
