The UNSW Bachelor of Architectural Studies is a three-year degree when studied full time. Here, you will learn to design buildings and their surrounds to meet the needs of the people who use them. Taking sustainability, culture and the economy into consideration – you’ll participate in design studio sessions and lectures that cover a range of engaging topics and academic subjects. Media Studies (Major)
During your media studies programs at UNSW, you’ll learn how to demonstrate creativity, rigour, adaptability, independence and cultural reflexivity in the application of media studies concepts and methods. On top of this, you will be able to critically analyse the evolving media landscape in relation to historical, social, political, material, and theoretical contexts, including settler colonialism. Studio-based courses enable you to focus on a specific area of design and digital media practice or put together a suite of courses from across design, material practice and digital media.

Computer Science is the study of the design, construction and use of computer systems. When you complete a Bachelor of Computer Science at UNSW, you’ll develop the skills and knowledge required for computer applications to be developed.

Working with both hardware and software, this undergraduate degree teaches the basic principles behind computing tools, operating systems, compilers and translators, and computer hardware.

The Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) consists of a year-long major independent research project (completed under the guidance of an academic supervisor), and a thesis based on the project. In addition, you'll complete advanced core and elective coursework.

The research project may be undertaken in most areas of psychology, such as:

• Cognitive science
• Cognition and perception
• Forensic psychology
• social, personality and developmental psychology.

The coursework requirement includes content that encompasses history, professional ethics, evidence-based practice and advanced coverage of selected contemporary issues in psychology.
