This double degree combines specialised knowledge in Engineering with the variety of possibilities available in an Arts degree. The Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) will provide you with a solid background in mathematics, natural sciences and computing to give you knowledge and skills in whichever engineering discipline specialisation you choose.

In the Arts component, you’ll choose a major from a range of disciplines within the humanities and social sciences, including languages, arts, history, philosophy and business. You’ll develop transferable skills and in-depth knowledge, and gain the tools to think critically, communicate effectively and conduct independent research.

The UNSW Master of International Relations recognises the complexity and the globalised nature of today’s world, and is specifically designed to advance your understanding of global politics and foreign policy.  Through this degree, you’ll critically examine theories and issues in contemporary world politics. You’ll explore international security, great-power rivalry, regional conflicts, nuclear proliferation, global environmental politics, civil conflict and terrorism, human rights, gender politics, international political economy, development and other pressing international issues.

Alongside this, you’ll learn to understand how these concepts and theories in international relations shape our view of the world. The Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (Honours) is a four-year full-time degree.

  • Work experience is an essential part of this degree. You’ll complete up to 90 days of work experience consisting of a minimum of 40 days of supervised work in a landscape industry role and 40 days in a design office. Forensic mental health services assess and treat people with mental health problems who have a history of or are at risk of criminal offending. Professionals in this field might also work in civil legal settings, such as the family court. Forensic mental health is a major consideration for professionals in a range of fields, including medicine, law, nursing, criminology, psychology, occupational therapy and social work.

The Master of Forensic Mental Health was established in response to a local need for trained professionals to work in this expanding field. This progressive degree brings together a diverse cross-section of experiences and perspectives from mental health professionals, members of the legal profession and those involved in the criminal justice system. Through optometry, many vision problems and eye diseases can be corrected or managed, restoring sight to people from all walks of life.

Optometrists diagnose vision problems, eye diseases and other eye health issues. These highly skilled professionals correct poor vision and manage or slow degenerative eye diseases with corrective lenses, optical aids, therapy or medication.

The Bachelor of Vision Science/Master of Clinical Optometry provides you with the clinical skills and training required to gain registration to practice optometry. It combines the theoretical discipline of vision science with the clinical expertise of primary eye care.
