The Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) has been designed with consultation from industry to set you up for lifelong employability. By combining your BCom with a Bachelor of Arts, you can choose from a diverse range of majors and subjects in the arts, humanities and social sciences. You'll develop an in-depth knowledge and breadth of understanding, gaining the tools to think critically, communicate effectively and conduct independent research.

The Master of Engineering Science (Electrical Engineering) is a two-year full-time year degree at UNSW’s leading engineering faculty. You’ll explore the study of electrical engineering where you’ll learn across a variety of engineering systems, including renewable energy and signal processing.

This postgraduate degree is designed to take your knowledge of a specialisation from an undergraduate degree level to an advanced post graduate level. Armed with expertise, you'll be able to enter a new field or lay the foundations for a career in research and development.

The UNSW Master of Engineering Science (Nuclear Engineering) is designed for students who want to understand nuclear concepts that form the foundation of our universe. Through this degree you’ll develop the skills to apply these concepts to a variety of industries today and the technologies of the future. This postgraduate degree teaches you the underpinning theory behind nuclear engineering techniques, technologies and processes.

This degree also provides a stream that allows graduates from traditional engineering disciplines to pursue a career in high-tech industries including nuclear science, nuclear medicine, mining and resources, energy, manufacturing, aerospace, space exploration and defence. You’ll learn from national and international experts in the sector, including nuclear researchers from UNSW Sydney and the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation, plus shared courses with the UNSW-ASU-King’s College PLuS Alliance.

The two-year postgraduate degree, taught by the School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, features complex, open-ended, enquiry-based projects. You’ll develop knowledge and skills in topics such as:

The UNSW Master of Public Relations & Advertising/Master of Design combines two postgraduate degrees over two or three years full-time. UNSW’s Business School’s Master of Commerce Extension (MCom (Ext)) is a postgraduate coursework degree that can be completed in two-years full-time. Throughout this three-year full-time degree, you will gain a range of audio, visual, and digital production skills that will equip you with the tools and knowledge to remain at the leading edge of local and international media industries.

With a career in sound production, video production, animation, film, or online games on the horizon – this degree will focus on conceptual knowledge and professional skills. Undertake hands-on learning with the latest technology, industry experience and a diverse team of academics and award-winning animators, filmmakers, scriptwriters, sound artists and game researchers ready to guide you along the way. 

Practicing using the latest cameras, audio recorders, microphones, lights, dollies and gimbals – you’ll build a strong portfolio of audio-visual work you can leverage professionally. You’ll also have access to advanced multimedia labs, digital video production and post-production facilities, animation and audio production studios. This includes our Esme Timbery Creative Practice Lab, which has a system of computer-controlled amplification for the perfect performance environment.

The Master of Professional Accounting (Extension) follows the structure of the Master of Professional Accounting but adds four extra courses in your choice of electives to further your knowledge. This provides you with the opportunity to complete a more comprehensive program beyond the core professional knowledge areas required for accreditation.

You'll gain an excellent foundation in business with a strong accounting focus. In this postgraduate degree you'll learn accounting principles, their applications and other relevant knowledge in economics, finance, information systems and law.

The Master of Simulation & Immersive Technologies will equip you to become a future-ready design leader. You’ll graduate capable of understanding and meeting the growing demand for immersive practices across many industries.

This program offers a unique human-centric and design-led approach to technologies and focuses on human perception and experience. You’ll learn how, why, when and where to effectively utilise simulation and immersive platforms, including virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), mixed reality (MR) and extended reality (XR). This degree is designed to accommodate the needs of busy professionals from a wide range of backgrounds. You will choose to study fully online, or in blended mode with part-time and full-time options available. In blended mode, you will study core courses online and attend two intensive face-to-face meetups per year on-campus or at our industry partner facilities. You will also have full access to all campus facilities throughout your study.

The Master of Global Health (Extension) provides you with the advanced knowledge and technical capacities to contribute to disease control, health promotion, health services development and public health research across a wide range of populations and countries. It fosters sophisticated knowledge and skills that can be applied to a broad range of highly complex public health issues in global health.

This degree also includes a research project which will cultivate your critical thinking and communication skills as you explore contemporary health issues globally. You will be equipped with specialised professional skills needed for research and professional practice to work globally in health departments, with government and non-government organisations (NGOs), and with international and bilateral aid agencies in both the public and private sectors.
