The Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) has been designed with consultation from industry to set you up for lifelong employability. By combining your BCom with a Bachelor of Arts, you can choose from a diverse range of majors and subjects in the arts, humanities and social sciences. Accounting (Major)

Studying accounting, you’ll become a business insights expert. Cinema studies
What makes cinematic experiences move our hearts and minds so deeply? Discover how cinema can affect us powerfully, through the creative combination of various methods, techniques, narratives, and messages. 

This specialisation will develop your skills in critical thinking, researching, planning, and presenting conceptual projects. You’ll understand the intersection between entertainment, politics, and aesthetics, with a critical exploration of political cinema, cult film, experimental and mainstream movies.

Hone your critical voice while developing skills in close and careful film analysis and deepen your understanding of the intersections between popular entertainment, politics, and aesthetics. 

You’ll have opportunities to apply your knowledge to practical industry experiences such as collaborating on a short film, running a film festival, and doing an industry internship.

Upon graduating, you’ll be ready for a career in creative and cultural industries, including film journalism, festival programming, distribution, advertising, policy, and education.

This degree is designed for students who are passionate about both the Law and Engineering, and are interested in learning about the connection between the two.

The Law degree aims to develop graduates who have excellent analytical skills, a capacity for scholarly research, effective oral and written communication skills, and a commitment to personal and professional development, ethical practice and social responsibility.

The Master of Construction Project Management at UNSW is a 1.7, or 1 year accelerated postgraduate degree that will prepare you for career advancement that drives solutions to current and future challenges in the construction industry.

Through advanced disciplinary courses and a research project, you’ll dive into modern management methodologies. You’ll apply them to achieve successful project outcomes across time, cost, quality, safety, and sustainability, preparing to manage projects that benefit people and the planet.

UNSW’s Master of Environmental Management is a two-year full-time postgraduate degree that will prepare you for a career that tackles our biggest ecological challenges through change-leadership and sustainability.

In this master’s degree, you’ll learn to think about environmental problems through a number of lenses, forming a deep understanding of the socio-political influences that drive them.  In addition to the program’s key focus on conceptual tools, you will also develop experiential and practical skills to inform ethical and restorative sustainability leadership in a range of professional contexts.

This exciting degree focuses on the science and practice of air and space flight; the design, development, testing and production of aerospace vehicles; the maintenance and operation of aircraft; and aerospace research. To accommodate the international nature of the aerospace industry, you will receive the same depth of understanding as professional aerospace training programs in other industrial countries.

Our Aerospace Engineering degree focuses on airborne vehicles to meet future employment prospects in Australia (like aerodynamics, flight mechanics, propulsion and structures). The final-year course involves a team project integrating all aspects of aircraft design to meet a defined mission specification. Medical science is the foundation that the practice of medicine is built on. This degree delves into how the human body functions and responds to disease and drug treatments. It incorporates facets of several scientific disciplines to provide you with an extensive understanding of the human body.

The Bachelor of Medical Science explores:

Molecular Biology

Molecular Biology is a marriage of biochemistry, microbiology and cell biology. It will have an increasingly important role to play in many aspects of modern medicine, genetics, evolutionary biology, bioinformatics, biotechnology and genomics.

The UNSW Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Education (Secondary) is a four-year, full-time (or part-time equivalent) double degree that provides you with the skills to pursue a career in secondary-school teaching, specialising in science and mathematics. After completing the degree, you’ll have a professional teaching qualification as well as a flagship science degree from our science faculty, UNSW Science.

You’ll learn how science is taught and gain an understanding of STEM subject areas such as environmental science, physics or mathematics. The UNSW Bachelor of Education (Secondary) is a recognised qualification in initial teacher education. You'll graduate qualified to embark on a career as a secondary school teacher in both government and non-government secondary schools throughout Australia and overseas.

Mining Engineering studies the safe, economic and environmentally responsible recovery, processing, marketing and financial management of mineral resources. Mining Engineering is about the extraction of natural minerals from the earth and the processing of those minerals into more user-friendly forms with minimal environmental impact.
