The business component of the double degree will allow students to gain knowledge in one of three core Business areas: Money, Markets or Management. 

Sport Management

The Sport Management major is designed for people who seek careers in Australian and international Sport management. Specialist units provide students with a capacity to understand and function within the increasingly dedicated context in which sport is played, organised and managed.

Students who complete this major will be equipped with the skills and knowledge to manage sport experiences pertaining to globalisation and emerging contemporary issues in sport.

This double degree program allows you to span both the legal and scientific worlds. This Bachelor of Science asks questions about how the natural world works and the impact of humans at its interface. It does so in a systematic, yet rigorously creative way based on inquiry and evidence. A Bachelor of Science will prepare you to take part in this process of inquiry, by both contributing to it and by using scientific knowledge to solve current problems in broad settings.

The Bachelor of Laws program satisfies the academic degree requirements for admission to practice as an Australian lawyer. Students will engage in collaborative face-to-face problem and case-based learning, will be supported by online learning materials, and will participate in authentic assessment to develop knowledge and skills.

Forensic Science

This major provides students specialised expertise in forensic science including methods of forensic analysis, crime scene investigation, forensic photography, forensic investigation, crime and criminal justice and complex cases. Career opportunities include forensic scientists, crime scene investigators, private investigators and consultants, police officers, drug analysts, researchers and academics, and specialised forensic science practitioners. The main employers of forensic scientists are State and Federal police services, State and Commonwealth Government Health Departments and analytical chemistry laboratories. Graduates will be versatile with a wide skills base with (depending on their choice of electives) potential for employment in analytical chemistry and microbiology, quality control and assurance, biochemistry and molecular biology, scientific research, education and the chemical industry.

Our Bachelor of Health Science combines study with hands-on experience and allows you to major in one or two specialisations in the areas of health promotion, health services management, recreational therapy, clinical sciences and public health. The program is designed to give you the skills you need to work with clients and develop great services which promote health and well-being.

Clinical Sciences

The Clinical Sciences major provides you with an opportunity to study a range of clinical health sciences subjects, providing a pathway into a clinical health career.  

The subjects have been specifically selected to allow you to obtain the assumed knowledge requirements of undergraduate clinical health programs such as occupational therapy, podiatric medicine and speech pathology. Completion of the Bachelor of Health Science (Clinical Sciences) provides eligibility for admission, to most post-graduate health programs. The Clinical Sciences major focusses study on anatomy and physiology, pathophysiology, neuroanatomy, functional anatomy, abnormal psychology, motor skill acquisition and professional reasoning.

Environmental Health

The air we breathe, the water we drink, the food we eat, and the places we live, work and play all have major impacts on our health and well-being. The testamur major Environmental Health, when combined with the major Environmental Futures in a Bachelor of Science, will equip you to explore the diverse range of natural and built-environment challenges that confront us, from the mitigation of human health impacts of global climate change through to the more localised issues of air and water quality, waste management, food security, environmental noise and healthy communities. Networking

The Networking Major provides the students with in-depth knowledge for the analysis, design, and implementation of networked systems. It offers the students the opportunity to develop the technical skills needed for management and secure operation of a broad range of systems, including LANs, WANs, wireless networks, distributed systems, and large heterogeneous networks.

The Physiotherapy program takes an evidence-based approach to health sciences teaching, learning and research, to produce professionals who can truly help clients and communities to lead healthier, more productive lives. The Bachelor of Communication encompasses a wide range of subjects in the field of communication and media with a core program of media studies, practices and theory, and specialised major sequences in advertising, journalism, public relations and media arts production.

Public Affairs

The Public Relations major covers the skills and knowledge required in the profession of public relations, including event management, issues and crisis management and campaign development.

The major focuses on the role of the public relations practitioner or adviser and provides a theoretical framework of the industry. Students engage with both theory and practical projects and complete an internship placement.

This double degree program targets the wide application of information technology in business and commerce in Accounting.

This degree combines information technology with knowledge required by professional Accountants. It allows students to develop skills in application development, program design, systems analysis and design, networks, web-design, and the implementation of technology.

The Bachelor of Business (Accounting) is accredited with and satisfies the pre-admission educational requirements for membership of CPA Australia (CPA), Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) and the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA).

Completion of this degree will allow you to claim a number of exemptions from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) in obtaining the CIMA Professional Degree.

Students are introduced to a wide array of competing economic theories, so that they are critically informed about the ways in which they can transform the world.
