The Advanced Business Administration is a one-year certificate program. In this program, students will gain the basic management skills to start a business career or launch your own business. The Certificate program in Legal Administration Assistant is a one year long undergraduate certificate provided by the School of Legal and Professional Studies at Capilano University. Students who are even remotely interested in the field of law and paralegal studies but do not wish to pursue lawyering as a profession can go for this certificate. The Legal Administrative Assistant program helps the students develop traditional administrative skills as well as legal procedural courses, including: civil and family litigation, wills and probate, corporate law, convincing and mortgaging, and legal office procedures.

Along with complete theoretical knowledge about various practices and concepts underlying law students are guided by a group of expert, highly professional faculty members who supervise and counsel students at every step of the way throughout the program. The HCA certificate is an 8-month full-time program offered in an accelerated program that students can complete in 7 months of study.
