Virtually every organization and field of study rely on computers in order to succeed in today’s hyper-digital age. As an Information Systems student, you’ll look for better ways to accomplish tasks using computing technologies, exploring how the world processes, manages, and communicates information. Science
With so many fascinating science programs offered at Trent, it can be difficult to know which degree to choose. If you’re interested in general sciences but haven’t yet decided on a specific program, this flexible first-year pathway is for you. Honours Science allows you to explore courses across various science programs before declaring a major or joint-major in your second year. You can even choose to combine different disciplines, taking courses from programs across both the sciences and arts.

By examining corporate, self-employment, online, small business, and other business models, you’ll learn the fundamentals of leadership and management, gaining a deep understanding of the organization of business and its role in today’s highly-digital world.

Economics (Specialization):-
A specialization in Economics is the perfect academic pursuit for B.B.A. students wanting to develop a deeper understanding of the problems that face the business world, along with the theories and techniques that are being used to solve these issues. Hone your skills as a creative and innovative business thought leader and explore a range of topics in micro and macroeconomics, international finance, and more.

Graduating students who have fulfilled the requirements for a Bachelor of Business Administration degree may apply for a Specialization in Economics, if they have successfully completed the following 3.5 credits:

• 2.5 credits consisting of ADMN 3700H, ECON 2000H, 2010H, 3020H, and 3120H
• 0.5 credit from ADMN 3870H or 0.5 ECON credit beyond those required for the BBA (ECON 1010H, 1020H, 2200H, 2250H)
• 0.5 additional ECON credit beyond those required for the BBA

With 220 million French speakers worldwide (projected to be more than 700 million by 2050), French language and knowledge of Francophone cultures has become a highly sought after and valuable skill. French & Francophone Studies is about more than just learning a language. It’s also about understanding the world and culture that the language reflects. In this program, you’ll examine the diversity of Canadian and International Francophonies. Through explorations of history, literature, cinema and contemporary topics, you will discover where the words, phrases and slang you speak come from and reaffirm yourself as a French-speaking citizen.

Trent’s unique Biomedical Science degree combines the study of biology and medicine, allowing you to examine the impact of disease on human health. In this program, you’ll study a range of medical and health-related topics such as cell biology, anatomy and biochemistry. You’ll gain a better understanding of how the many levels and approaches to health and medicine are complementary, and you’ll learn to apply these principles to assess and solve problems as they relate to real-world health issues.

Co-op Option Overview:-
Students in the Co-op option are required to pay an administrative fee for each work term. These nonrefundable fees are set by the University. Co-op students are also responsible for tuition and incidental fees related to their study terms and costs related to any Trent courses taken while completing a work term

Co-operative education is an opportunity to get a head start on a career. It permits students to develop key skills, explore career options, and graduate with 12 months of relevant experience. The Co-op option assists graduating students in achieving a competitive edge while generating experience within the industry. 

Students who successfully complete the specified number of Co-op work terms receive a Cooperative Education Designation on their degree. This special designation signals to future employers that such students are not only well educated but experienced in the workplace. 

Geography at Trent goes beyond learning in a classroom; it’s a hands-on exploration of our natural world. In this program, you’ll learn about real-world issues and critical perspectives related to both human and physical geography. You’ll explore complex challenges such as the causes and impacts of climate change, health geography, water resources, and the historical roots of geopolitical conflicts.
