The Bachelor of Commerce is a four year degree program. The program provides students with a background in diverse areas of Business along with in-depth study of a specific area of interest.
Students are also able to explore disciplines offered in other University of Alberta faculties through program electives providing a well rounded degree. The BCom program provides students with a basis for self-learning through actual experience and the opportunity to develop comprehensive analytical skills.

International Business
Accounting for differences in language, culture, and law in our globalized economy makes doing business across international borders a specialized and challenging field.
This major widens your perspectives, teaches new approaches, and prepares you to do business in the global marketplace. Differences in language, culture, and law mean that business managers must be prepared to tackle these issues.

This program focuses on molecular structures and the processes of cellular life and their roles in the function, reproduction, and development of living organisms.

In the first two years of the program, you’ll concentrate on topics in genetics, microbiology, and plant molecular genetics; after that you can pursue your own area of focus.

This program can be taken as part of a BSc Honors or BSc Specialization degree.

Our Honors Chemistry degree is a structured program designed to train professional chemists whose knowledge can be applied to all industries. The Honors program provides our highest level of specialized training and includes a chemical research component under the direction of a member of the department. The BSc Psychology program focuses on how the brain functions, and how we perceive, learn, and forget things. You’ll gain an understanding of areas like perception and motivation, behavior, and cognitive development, with emphasis on the physical, biological and mathematical sciences.

Our Honors Psychology program includes first-hand experience conducting research under the guidance of a faculty mentor. There are two phases to this experience: A research apprenticeship undertaken in your third year, and the thesis research conducted in your fourth year.
