The University of Windsor, Faculty of Engineering offers a Master of Engineering (MEng) Program which is course-based designed for working professionals or recent graduates who want to increase their knowledge in multiple, advanced topics.

The Engineering Materials Graduate Program is to provide an outstanding learning environment for productive graduate research, to maintain state-of-the-art research laboratories equipped with the most modern research equipment to offer students with opportunities for a rewarding education. To keep self-sustained growth by a high output of student co-authored peer-reviewed research publications, and strengthening collaborative research with other universities and industry. To expose students to challenging industrial problems that are studied using a sound scientific methodology and experimental/theoretical research skills. To prepare students for careers in teaching and/or research in academia or in industry. To train students to acquire autonomy in conducting innovative research.

Drama and English Literature
Come develop your creativity in our drama program where you’ll get the training for a career in the theatre. Choose a concentration in performance, history and theory, design/technical theatre, or a combination of two or all three. First-year students get hands-on training behind the scences at University Players. Students love this program so much that many go on to graduate school for further learning and specialization

Creative Writing
Creative writing degree programs at the University of Windsor are among the oldest and most innovative in Canada. What makes our creative writing degree programs unique is how the degree combines literature and language coursework with creative writing workshops.

If you’re interested in a career as an actuary or a statistician, this is the right program for you. You’ll train your brain for critical thinking and solving complex problems. The Disability Studies and Psychology program involves training in both psychology and disability studies. It focuses on psychological and social models of disability and exposes students to real-world learning experiences.

Disability Studies provides students with the knowledge and experience-based practice they can use to advocate for:

• Social justice
• Anti-oppressive needs
• Accessibility for people with disabilities

Through course work and community experience placements in disabilities settings, students learn advocacy skills to prepare for work in academic, health, social service and government organizations.

Study all aspects of filmmaking in scripted and documentary film, pre-production planning, budget planning, concept development, screenwriting and screen adaptations; production related directing, cinematography, set design, lighting, sound, and post-production including sound design and editing. Learn narrative, non-narrative, documentary, and experimental filmmaking traditions and create films based on experimentation with narrative and formal expression.

Sustaining human populations while maintaining environmental quality and diversity is the greatest challenge of our age. Pursue your diverse environmental interests in one of the first truly multidisciplinary programs of its kind in the country. The Master of Medical Biotechnology is a professional program that provides students with both a solid foundation of the theoretical concepts and practical industrially applicable laboratory technique experiences used in medical biotechnology industries. In addition, students will also receive training in business plan development and product commercialization.

The skills and knowledge taught in this program will allow you to develop a successful career in biotech entrepreneurship, medical and pharmaceutical materials characterization, medical diagnostics or biotechnology product development/monitoring. In addition, the Master of Medical Biotechnology program can be a route for career advancement if you are currently employed in biotechnology and/or related medical and pharmaceutical industries.

You will study and live in Canada for approximately 16 months while enrolled in 10 prescribed courses. The courses will have multi-disciplinary relevance and provide the practical knowledge required to excel in the complex environment of Medical Biotechnology.

The MMB graduate degree is a self-funded professional program. Students who register in this program are not eligible for government funding, i.e. Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP), and therefore must ensure that they have sufficient financial resources to meet their total cost of attendance.
