Bachelor of Arts or B.A (General) is an Under-Graduate course. The Bachelor of Arts course can be defined as a broad subdivision of culture composed of many expressive disciplines. The Bachelor of Arts course can be pursued either as a full-time graduate course or part-time graduate course i.e., through correspondence or distance education depending upon one’s choice.

Master of Science or MSc in information technology IT is a 2 years long post-graduate level master degree program. MSc IT aims to provide theoretical as well as practical knowledge on topics like software development, data mining, computer systems, analytics etc.

BSc Medical is an undergraduate course, the duration of which is 3 years duration. It involves the study of Sciences like Zoology, Botany, Chemistry and allied Medical Technology.

A branch of engineering that involves the production and usage of heat and mechanical power for the design, production, and operation of machines and tools. It is one of the oldest and broadest engineering disciplines. Mechanical Engineering emerged in the 19th century from the developments in the field of physics. Mechanical Engineering program at Baba Farid College of Engineering and Technology is best suited to meet the ever-changing requirements of engineers. We have a strong undergraduate program in mechanical engineering. The primary focus of our curriculum is to impart technical know-how to students. The mechanical department offers numerous optional certificate courses for providing a wide spectrum of options to the students to gain knowledge about their interest beyond the curriculum. Electrical Engineering is one of the largest and most diverse technological and engineering disciplines in today’s world. Electrical Engineering, the discipline that employs the largest number of engineers, covers everything related to electrical devices, systems, and the use of electricity. The basic theme is the use of electricity and electromagnetism for the generation, transmission, processing, storage, conversion, and control of information and energy. Electrical Engineers are needed in all manufacturing units and all major companies of the public and private sector. Electricity boards, large scale industries, manufacturing plants, power corporations, hydro-electricity sector are continuously in need of Electrical Engineers for their projects.

Electrical Engineering program at Baba Farid College of Engineering and Technology is excellently suited to meet the ever-changing requirements of engineers with courses that combine the Electrical Machines, Power System, Power Plant Engineering, Power System Analysis and computational techniques with engineering. In addition, undergraduates are exposed to the concepts of design including the application of (ETAP Software) techniques. The program also considers the need for real-world exercise which is why throughout the program time to time it entails Industrial visits, live projects, and a host of hand-on-practice based assignments that give students an opportunity to apply their theoretical concept & knowledge to problems faced on the ground.

B.A. B.Ed. Integrated is a four-year undergraduate programme that offers a dual degree. The programme was started with a vision to impart in-depth knowledge of different subjects of Humanities including Political Science, History, Geography, Economics, Sociology and Psychology as well as English and Hindi languages. The programme is designed according to NCTE guidelines to prepare qualitative future teachers for nation-building.
