Fisheries science is the academic study of understanding and managing fisheries. It is a multidisciplinary science, that draws on the study and investigation of fish processing, aquaculture and fishery resource management, fishing technology and management, fisheries environment and fisheries extension.

A Master of Science in Agronomy provides graduates with a thorough knowledge and understanding of how agricultural productivity can improve food security and assist human beings with the ability to methodize more efficient food production procedures. Besides, the Department has also provided Pro E and Ansys software in its labs. Our aim is to establish ourselves as a centre of excellence in the field of Mechanical Engineering, through innovative teaching-learning methods, intensive CAD/CAM short term programs and Inudstry-Institute partnerships. The department focuses on manufacturing, welding, automotive design and auto service sector skill development.

Civil Engineering is considered to be the most versatile branch among all the engineering branches. It is the branch with a lot of diversity from geotechnical engineering to structural engineering, environmental to hydraulics, transportation to hydrology; Civil Engineering can be considered as a single largest branch among all the engineering branches.

Civil Engineering in Centurion University is offered in both the campuses at Parlakhemundi and Bhubaneswar. The department has some of the most senior faculty members drawn from retired professors from Orissa and AP. It has also professors who have been Chief Engineers of the state. The pedagogy is a mix of theory and practice. Like all departments, Civil also has about 60% practical component in its curriculum.

Master of Science in Horticulture is a postgraduate Agriculture Science and Technology course. Horticulture is the science, art, technology and business that involved in intensive plant cultivation for human use. The duration of M.Sc. in Horticulture is mostly two academic years but it varies from institute to institute. Horticulture is concerned it is the science of plant cultivation including the process of preparing the soil for the planting of seeds, tubers and cuttings. Horticulturists work and conduct research in the disciplines of plant propagation and cultivation, crop production, plant breeding and genetic engineering, plant biochemistry, and plant physiology. The Central Agricultural University is providing in two years. The minimum time to complete the course is two years. The course is divided into four semesters.
