Mining engineering is the discipline of engineering which includes extraction, production, identification, and handling of valuable minerals from a naturally occurring environment. The program is intended to encourage candidates to cross conventional modules of mining building and look for work opportunities.

Agricultural Education is the teaching of agriculture, natural resources, and land management through hands-on experience and guidance to prepare students for entry-level and advanced agricultural jobs. Demand for agricultural graduates is supposed to be high as compared to the demand for all other occupations in the coming years. The global trend towards standardization of all agricultural products and equipment will lead to greater demand for agricultural professionals. A Master of Science in Agronomy provides graduates with a thorough knowledge and understanding of how agricultural productivity can improve food security and assist human beings with the ability to methodize more efficient food production procedures. The subjects studied under the agriculture studies degree include concepts like crop production, physiology of drought, herbicides, irrigation agronomy, advanced irrigation agronomy, advanced crop ecology, arid zone agronomy, agro-metrology, cropping and farming systems, crop yields, the principle of croup nutrition etc. The course helps students to gain knowledge of animal and plants organisms, their functions, inter dependencies, cell functions and their interactions with each other and the environment.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering has strategic alliances with companies like NALCO, HAL, Vedanta & Jindal other than CTTC, CIPET, IIW & NSIC to provide superior theoretical and practical training. Besides, the Department has also provided Pro E and Ansys software in its labs. Our aim is to establish ourselves as a centre of excellence in the field of Mechanical Engineering, through innovative teaching-learning methods, intensive CAD/CAM short term programs and Inudstry-Institute partnerships. The department focuses on manufacturing, welding, automotive design and auto service sector skill development.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is the imparting of instruction in assembling or generating industry-ready staff and techniques, technologies, markets and employment patterns in Mechanical Engineering. This Diploma offered by Centurion University is considered equivalent to the Diploma offered by the Technical Education System and is identical to any of the similar diplomas offered by various polytechnic-based institutes in India. Mechanical engineering is one of the main engineering disciplines that include the application of laws of physics for Design, Analysis and Manufacturing of mechanical systems. M.Sc Agriculture Genetics & Plant Breeding- Plant Breeding & Genetics is dedicated to the genetic improvement of crop plants for the benefit of society through the development of novel breeding methodologies, the discovery and deployment of economically important genes as genetic stocks, germplasm, and varieties, and the training of a new generation of plant breeders.The course offers knowledge on the genetic basis of plant breeding and provides skills in conventional breeding practices, application of biotechnology in plant improvement and variety selection technologies. The graduate will be exposed to institutions involved in plant improvement and therefore have an exposure to challenges and opportunities in plant improvement. The graduate is expected to have the capacity to develop plant improvement plans for plants of economic importance. The graduate shall provide services to seed companies, research and training institutions and offer consultancy services to plant variety development firms. The course targets graduates who are interested in specializing in areas related to plant genetic improvement, genetic resource management or seed production.

Civil Engineering is considered to be the most versatile branch among all the engineering branches. It is the branch with a lot of diversity from geotechnical engineering to structural engineering, environmental to hydraulics, transportation to hydrology; Civil Engineering can be considered as a single largest branch among all the engineering branches.

Civil Engineering in Centurion University is offered in both the campuses at Parlakhemundi and Bhubaneswar. The department has some of the most senior faculty members drawn from retired professors from Orissa and AP. It has also professors who have been Chief Engineers of the state. The pedagogy is a mix of theory and practice. Like all departments, Civil also has about 60% practical component in its curriculum.

B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering is a four-year undergraduate programme imparting fundamental knowledge in core disciplines such as control systems communications, radio frequency, design signal processing, microelectronics, microprocessors, power generation and electrical machines. The programme curriculum involves industrious subjects like Application based Programming in Programming in Python, Digital System, Design, Microprocessor and Microcontroller with Interfacings and Network Analysis & Synthesis.
