Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Sciences is an undergraduate 4 years academic program, with 3.5 years of Didactic learning and 6 months of mandatory Internship.The course aims to provide proficient and balanced training in laboratory medicine and diagnosis. It involves the application of different technologies to diagnose and cure diseases. The students become specialized at analysis of body matter such as fluid, tissue and blood, micro-organism screening, chemical analyses, and cell count. Students also learn to handle advanced lab equipment and perform accurate laboratory tests, with great emphasis on Quality Control and Quality Assurance. Students are trained for careers in diagnostics, academics, laboratory medicine, R & D sectors, quality control and quality assurance and for being entrepreneurs, by setting up their own laboratory.

M.Sc. Microbiology is a two-year degree program wherein students are taught through a combination of lectures, tutorials, practical classes, coursework and projects about the components and composition of microscopic living organisms and their assembly and interactions important in sustaining life. By using theoretical knowledge and techniques, students attempt to investigate and solve biological problems pertaining to the understanding of physiological processes of the microbes, their interaction with hosts leading to diseases and subsequent disease diagnostics, prevention, therapy and prognostics.

M.Sc. (Agri.) Entomology is a two year post graduate programme designed to provide knowledge and skill of plant protection principles and procedures to the students. The program offers an excellent blend of theory and research that align with the curricula of leading agricultural universities and ICAR guidelines. The course structure imparts the students with through understanding of the breadth of Agricultural Entomology by providing comprehensive knowledge on basic concepts and current developments in Insect Biosystematics; Insect Physiology; Insect-Pest Management, Host Plant resistance and Insect Toxicology along with minor courses of resistance breeding and plant diseases. The focus of the programme is not only insect pests but also the beneficial arthropods found in the agro-ecosystem that contribute to ecosystem services such as biological control and pollination. It can be defined as the art and science of designing buildings and facilities for life safety and property protection in the event of an unwanted fire with application of scientific and engineering principles. The fire engineering design sectors are at the forefront in ensuring fire safety is maintained and enhanced, without exhausting natural resources or damaging the environment.

This course is designed for the students who dream to be involved in the design of industrial safety solutions along with the fire protection measures through the application of prevailing knowledge and proven techniques. Master of Pharmacy  (Pharmaceutical Chemistry) is a two-year postgraduate program (PG) aimed to develop pharmacy professionals with an advanced knowledge of synthesis and analysis of active pharmaceutical ingredients to cater the ever-increasing demand of new drugs against diseases that ravage humanity. This program allows students to carry out independent research in consultation with industry collaborators and academic experts to build a career path for the corporate and education sector respectively.

The Animation and Motion Graphics Department at UID aims at providing top notch Industry standard training in the various facets of animation. Starting from traditional 2D classical animation to the new-age VR animation, every aspect of the subject is covered. The course prepares the student to master one’s skills and understanding so that they can choose any career in the production pipeline, be it in the pre-production, production or post-production level. Independent film-making and commercial film-making both are an integral part of the training.

The D. Pharm programme is duly approved by Pharmacy Council of India and Government of Haryana. The syllabus and curriculum prescribed by Pharmacy Council of India is followed for D. Pharm Programme. This shorter version of programme in pharmacy is specifically designed to create professionals who can prepare, analyze and dispense various pharmaceutical dosage forms. They also receive in-plant training in government hospitals through which the communication skill with the patients and the confidence towards the profession are improved significantly.

In this program, students will learn to design electronic circuits, computer systems, installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of electronic equipment. These candidates are considered to deal with the problems that occur with systems such as electrical machines and electric power transmission and find solutions for an issue occurred in the electrical and electronic machines.

Students are introduced to the basic Electrical & Electronic Engineering principles with hands-on experiences to emphasize on the various areas of electronics. They can apply ICT knowledge in engineering analysis, simulation and control through various software such as C++ and MATLAB etc.
