M.Sc. (Agri.) Entomology is a two year post graduate programme designed to provide knowledge and skill of plant protection principles and procedures to the students. The program offers an excellent blend of theory and research that align with the curricula of leading agricultural universities and ICAR guidelines. The course structure imparts the students with through understanding of the breadth of Agricultural Entomology by providing comprehensive knowledge on basic concepts and current developments in Insect Biosystematics; Insect Physiology; Insect-Pest Management, Host Plant resistance and Insect Toxicology along with minor courses of resistance breeding and plant diseases. The focus of the programme is not only insect pests but also the beneficial arthropods found in the agro-ecosystem that contribute to ecosystem services such as biological control and pollination. This course deals with Importance and scope of horticulture, Horticultural and botanical classification, Climate and soil for horticultural crops, Plant propagation-methods (sexual & asexual), propagating structures; separation, division, grafting, budding, layering), High density planting; Use of rootstocks; Orchard establishment, Principles and methods of training and pruning, Juvenility and flower bud differentiation; Unfruitfulness; pollination, pollinizers and pollinators; fertilization and parthenocarpy; Use of plant bio-regulators in horticulture, Irrigation methods in horticulture crops, Fertilizers application-methods.

M. Tech. Computer Science and Engineering programme provides you with deep understanding in the field of computer science.
