Physiotherapy means a system which includes comprehensive examination, treatment, advice and instructions to any persons preparatory to or for the purpose of or in connection with movement/functional dysfunction, bodily malfunction, physical disorder, disability, healing and pain from trauma & disease, physical and mental conditions using physical agents, activities & devices including exercise, mobilization, manipulations, electrical & thermal agents and other electro therapeutics for prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment, health promotion and fitness.

MPT students undergo extensive training to up skill their learning with latest manual therapies thus setting a benchmark in the industry. Our college aims to promote the abilities and skills of students for the application of physiotherapy to the patients in different hospitals/clinics. The Department of Mechanical Engineering under the School of Engineering and Technology, IIMT University, Meerut offers Ph.D. programme in different research areas related to Mechanical Engineering such as Solar Thermal Engg., Renewable Energy, Micro-manufacturing, MEMS and NEMS etc.

After successful completion of doctoral degree, research candidate may opt for teaching at universities and UG/PG colleges. 

Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) is a branch of paramedical science that deals with diagnosing and treating various diseases. It is the science of analysis of human fluids like pericardial fluid, peritoneal fluid, pericardial fluid, urine, blood samples, and other specimens. DMLT Course is an entry-level program designed to impart the knowledge of inspecting, testing, and identifying various diseases. It is a two-year program where students are exposed to in-depth knowledge of Hematology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Microbiology, Serology and Blood Banking.

Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology is a 2-year diploma program designed to impart experiential learning to the students in order to develop a desired workforce to combat ever increasing demand of medical lab technicians in the healthcare sector. The program is designed with specific inputs from industry experts, based on the latest technologies available and in practice, for individuals interested in entering the field of clinical laboratory science. Students will also learn the operation technique of advanced lab equipment’s used for providing various laboratory test reports.

Bachelor’s of Technology in Civil Engineering is a 4-years full time regular course offered by IIMT University, Meerut; a leading education group. Civil Engineering is one of the oldest and most popular branches of engineering. It is a professional program that includes planning, designing, construction, managing and maintaining the infrastructure. Our country is going through an intense phase of rapid infrastructure development. This throws up many possibilities of absorption of civil engineers in a big way thus providing vast job opportunities. The students employ their technical abilities to work towards smarter constructions. A civil engineer is not just limited to making buildings, but they are also capable to design and plan the infrastructural entities such as roads, buildings, canals, dams, highways, flyovers, public structures etc. It is one of the oldest branches of engineering which deals with the study of designing and structuring of buildings, bridges, roads, dams and many more. 

IIMT College of Medical Sciences offers Master in Nursing (M.Sc. Nursing) programme in different specialties that focuses on advancement of knowledge and skills in health care practices and future leadership. 

The postgraduate Nursing Program propels the student to explore and grow in the right direction. The course concentrates on expanding research and evidence-based evaluation skills among students. Masters of Commerce is a two years full time regular post graduate degree programme designed on CBCS pattern of study. The program aims to strengthen the core fundamental principles of accounting & finance with advanced knowledge in Economic theory, Money and Banking Systems, Trade and Commerce, Insurance and Risk, Taxation, Business Studies, Marketing, Psychological /Behavioral aspects, Law and Management.

During the tenure of the course students gain exhaustive knowledge and expertise in the related subjects to acquire competencies needed for problem solving and decision making. Students also develop research skills and critical thinking which serves as a value addition in corporate financial accounting.

School of Engineering & Technology at IIMT University offers two years full time specialization program in Transportation Engineering. The course belongs to an emerging era of technical education, which is crucial to the specialty of infrastructure construction and maintenance. Transportation Engineers are trained and developed to cater to the modern requirements of the industry. They have a deep insight of future traffic flows, the design of highway intersections or interchanges, geometric alignment and design, highway pavement materials and design, structural design of pavement thickness, and pavement maintenance etc. They are involved in various stages of project planning, designing & management.

LL.B. is full time three year degree programme approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI). This course prepares students for exciting careers in the field of law.

The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering offers three years Diploma in Electrical Engineering. The basic principles and performance of electronic devices and circuits are introduced in the course. The students are given in depth knowledge and understanding about different analog and digital modulation techniques used for communication, equipments and systems involved in wireless communications, satellite and optical communication technologies, computer communication and networking, design and development of microelectronic circuits for computation and processing, components and system for electronic instrumentation and control etc.

The Doctor of Philosophy in Physics and Applied Physics programs is designed to produce physicist with broad perspectives on the subject which may prepare them well for careers in academia, government and industry. The Ph.D programmes consist of course work and thesis research and presentation.

After successful completion of doctoral degree, students may opt for teaching at universities and UG/PG colleges. They can also go for a post doctoral research.
