School of Engineering & Technology at IIMT University offers two years full time specialization program in Transportation Engineering. The course belongs to an emerging era of technical education, which is crucial to the specialty of infrastructure construction and maintenance. Transportation Engineers are trained and developed to cater to the modern requirements of the industry. They have a deep insight of future traffic flows, the design of highway intersections or interchanges, geometric alignment and design, highway pavement materials and design, structural design of pavement thickness, and pavement maintenance etc. They are involved in various stages of project planning, designing & management.

B.Tech. (Electrical Engineering) deals with the study of various concepts related to application of electricity & electronics. Students develop competence in the areas of Electrical Machines, Power System, Control System, Power Electronics & Drives and High Voltage Devices & Systems. This course enables the students to take up professional career and/or higher studies in the above areas. The course curriculum is based on choice based credit scheme (CBCS) which is updated regularly in consultation with industry professionals, alumni and experts from reputed academic institutions to make the students competent enough for industry and higher studies.

The objective of Electrical Engineering department is to equip the students with technical skills in the field of Electrical Engineering which is concerned with Generation, Transmission, Distribution, Utilization and Control of Electrical Energy.

The Department of Computer Science & Engineering under the School of Engineering and Technology, IIMT University, Meerut offers Ph.D. programme in different research areas related to Computer Science & Engineering such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Data Mining, Deep Learning, Internet of Things (IoT), Cyber Security, Software Testing and Cloud Computing etc.

B.A. (Hons.) Business Economics is a 3 years undergraduate programme that can be pursued directly after Class XII. Business Economics is application of economics theories and concepts in real business situations. It is the extension of traditional economics which combines theories of managerial economics & business management. The course deals with the study of factors affecting businesses including labour, capital and market and business environment. The program strives to equip students with professional tools as well as management principles at graduation level itself and to impart sufficient knowledge in diverse fields of Economics, Quantitative Techniques, Finance, Econometrics, International Trade, Computers etc. B.A. (Hons.) in business Economics is a one of the best UG courses that builds professionalism and promises a bright career.

The Ph.D in Computer Science is a regular research degree of minimum three years. After successful completion of doctoral degree, students may opt for teaching at universities and UG/PG colleges. 

The Department of Mechanical Engineering under the School of Engineering and Technology, IIMT University, Meerut offers Ph.D. programme in different research areas related to Mechanical Engineering such as Solar Thermal Engg., Renewable Energy, Micro-manufacturing, MEMS and NEMS etc.

After successful completion of doctoral degree, research candidate may opt for teaching at universities and UG/PG colleges. 

Production engineering, often known as manufacturing engineering, is concerned with the planning, design, development, and management of diverse processes in order to produce high-quality goods. This discipline of engineering, which is a subset of Mechanical Engineering, is interdisciplinary in nature because it combines science and technology.

Bachelor’s of Technology in Civil Engineering is a 4-years full time regular course offered by IIMT University, Meerut; a leading education group. Civil Engineering is one of the oldest and most popular branches of engineering. It is a professional program that includes planning, designing, construction, managing and maintaining the infrastructure.
