Machine learning and Artificial Intelligence industry has seen an exponential growth in last few years. It is fuelled by the explosion in the use of Internet, extensive penetration of smartphones, increasing use of online services, social media, and e-banking.

In the School of Environmental Sciences (SES) we teach, study, and conduct research, in the life and physical sciences to address critical environmental issues and processes related to the lithosphere, atmosphere, hydrosphere, and biosphere.

School of Environmental Sciences provides and foster academic excellence in a diverse suite of undergraduate and graduate programs focused on the comprehensive study of biotic and abiotic interactions and environmental issues in natural and managed ecosystems. It is a highly respected, research-intensive community that promotes communication and collaboration among academics, industry and government at the provincial, national and international levels.

The School has diversified interest in various earth, atmospheric and biological processes. Linkages between Ecological and Social processes give an additional dimension to School's interest, making the work relevant. Therefore, the curriculum has components of disciplinary areas such as physical sciences, earth and atmospheric sciences, environmental biology, and environmental monitoring and management.

The study of microbes has been critical in our current understanding of basic biological processes, evolution, and the functions of the biosphere and has contributed to numerous fields of engineering. Microbes have the amazing ability to grow in extreme conditions, to grow slowly or rapidly, and to readily exchange DNA. They are essential for life as we know it, but can also be agents of disease. They are instrumental in shaping the environment, in evolution, and in modern biotechnology. They are amenable to virtually all modern approaches in science and engineering. Microbes provide natural engineering laboratories for creating new capabilities for industry (e.g., pharmaceuticals, chemicals, energy), and are the foundation of pioneering efforts in synthetic biology - i.e. building life from its component parts.

A Career in IT is considered one of the most high-paying jobs and is full of opportunities; particularly when India’s prowess in information technology industry is recognized across the globe. The pool of talented computer engineers working in IT companies of the USA and Canada shows that IT can take a person to higher levels. Numerous IT companies from India, employ a huge number of computer professionals in their Indian and overseas offices. The program is aimed to develop students technically competency based on the current needs of IT industries and society and to impart problem-solving ability and professional capabilities to compete globally.

BTech IT prepares students in the concepts of software development, information security, business software, maintaining databases and networks during the 4 years of education. BTech IT directs towards a bright future in the fields of software engineering and development.

Microbiologists suit for jobs in the area of Medical microbiology, Agricultural microbiology, Industrial microbiology, Food and Dairy microbiology and also in Marine microbiology.

BSc Agriculture is a 4-year undergraduate course that primarily focuses on research and practices in agricultural science, dealing with disciplines like Genetics and Plant Breeding, Agricultural Microbiology, Soil Science, Plant Pathology, etc.

BSc in Nursing is a 4-year undergraduate course that focuses on providing detailed nursing knowledge to medical aspirants.
