B.A. (Hons.) in Sociology is an undergraduate program which deals with various aspects of social behavior and its consequence on modern society. Sociology is a branch of study which investigates into multiple aspects of society and social behavior. A Bachelor degree in Sociology teaches the fundamental concepts related to structure of society, organization of society, and how humans interact within these constructs. The basic subject matter of Sociology concerns itself with topics related to family structure, global warfare, religious cults, social class, race and gender etc.

The two-year full time MBA degree program is designed to suit the current industry needs, emphasizes holistic development of future managers through the use of unique pedagogy.

The program has been designed in way to develop graduates with key practical skills and interdisciplinary knowledge essential for tomorrow’s leaders. The program also provides necessary skills in written communication, problem-solving, interpersonal understanding and critical thinking.

English Hons programme develops skills of communication, negotiation, team work, effective presentation, etc. which helps in self-development and personal growth. The students will be familiar with the conventions of diverse textual genres including fiction, non-fiction, poetry, autobiography, biography, Journal, films, plays, editorials etc. It will provide the ability to express thoughts and ideas effectively in writing and orally; communicate with others using appropriate media; confidently share one’s views and express himself/herself; demonstrate the ability to listen carefully, read and write analytically, and present complex information in a clear and concise manner to different groups.

Today, Computers have changed the very texture of life. The phenomenal technological advancements made in the field of Computer Science are really mind-boggling. We are heading towards an era of self-driven cars, unmanned airplanes, the robot managed business centers. The day is not far when the computers will read and translate the thoughts of a human being. Computers have touched every sphere of life. The emergence of new technologies like multi-core processor, mobile computing and cloud computing is redefining the boundaries of computing. The interdisciplinary approach has brought with it new challenges.

M.Sc. Histopathology Histopathologyis a post graduate 2-year course. The objectives of this course are:

• To impart knowledge and understanding of the detailed aspects of the subject to gain professional competence in the arena of Histopathology
• To equip the student with the skills and expertise in carrying out all Histopathology related routine and sophisticated medical diagnostic procedures efficiently.
• To instill qualities for effective management of a Medical Lab independently
• To enhance the competence in research and its methodology as related to the field concerned.

This is a Bridge Course program and catering to the needs of working professionals like community pharmacists and healthcare pharmacists. The course consists of a degree certificate which will be conferred at the end of the program, as prescribed in the regulations and additional qualification to be entered in Register of Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act 1948. The course is designed at par with global regulations and address the needs of the consumer. In the current situation, the challenges in the pharmacy profession seem to be never-ending and therefore subjects like social pharmacy, pharmacoeconomics, patient counseling and human resource management, Novel Drug Delivery Systems, Drug Store Management, Cold Chain systems and are an integral part of the course curriculum.
