The PhD programme in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) is a research-based programme. The research can be in any of the broad areas in ECE. The research is expected to be of sufficient quality to be publishable in leading international journals and top conferences pertaining to an area of research. This programme has a limited amount of course work that can be completed in one year. The course work is aimed at providing a student with sufficient breadth and to carry out research. The main emphasis is on the research work leading to a thesis. Typically students decide on their research area and faculty advisor within the first year while doing course work.

Keeping this in consideration, M.Sc. Chemistry is based upon choice base credit system with an inter/multidisciplinary approach to provide insights in various aspects of Inorganic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Computational Chemistry. The program is based upon cultivation of the interest of the students in Theoretical and Experimental Chemistry and enabling them to build a successful career in academics, industry or research. The programme includes sub-disciplines of Biochemistry, Environmental Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Photochemistry and more. The program carries out overall development of the students by providing the intellectual, scientific and practical exposure through industrial/scientific visits, seminars, workshops, trainings, dissertation etc.

Pharmaceutical Chemistry program incorporates the core disciplines of organic chemistry, biological chemistry, and pharmacology. It is is aimed to provide enhanced technical skills in design, synthesis and development of pharmaceuticals. Students will not only gain an in-depth understanding of the theoretical and experimental aspects of the field but also will be able to enhance their analytical and research skills along with simultaneous development of interpersonal skills, time management and organizational skills. The program intends to form a good base for research and further higher studies as well as strives to meet the requirements of Pharmaceutical Industries by providing in depth knowledge of the respective field of specialization. The undergraduate program B.
