M.P.T. Ortho-Physiotherapy is a postgraduate Orthopaedics course. Orthopaedic physical therapy includes treatment of the musculoskeletal system (which is made up of the muscles and bones of the body) that has been subject to injury or trauma. This includes sprains, strains, post fracture, post-surgery and repetitive injuries. The areas of the body include the neck and back as well the extremities. Orthopaedic surgeons use means of both, surgery and non-surgery to treat and cure musculoskeletal problems, injuries to sportspersons, degenerative diseases, infections, and tumours and congenital disorders. All the matters of muscles and bones in the human body are dealt with by orthopaedic surgeons or specialists.

It is a 2 year UGC approved program having an industry synced curriculum designed to impart relevant and quality management education, essential to develop competent corporate professionals who can suffice the dynamic industry needs and expectations.

The students learn computer literacy, including the ability to use various e-resources, technology and social media. Ability to use skills in specific areas related to chosen specialization (e.g., cognitive, industrial-organizational, clinical, counselling, health, educational, social, community) are developed. The programme helps understanding varied socio-cultural contexts and being mindful of indigenous traditions.
