Microbiology is a broad science encompassing the study of bacteria, algae, protozoa, fungi, and viruses in terms of their ecology, biochemistry, physiology, genetics, and role in disease processes. Of particular interest is the use of microbes in industrial applications for the production of foods and natural products, such as vitamins, as well as their rapidly expanding role in biotechnology and genetic engineering studies.

Completion of the Bachelor of Science in Microbiology may allow the student to continue into more specialized and in-depth advanced study leading to the Master in Microbiology. The breadth of interests and expertise includes environmental microbiology, microbial genetics, genetic engineering, immunology and immunochemistry, medical microbiology, mycology, protozoology, virology, microbial physiology, and biochemistry. Forensic science is typically defined as the application of all sciences to criminal and civil laws but mainly on the criminal side during criminal investigations. The word forensic comes from the Latin word “forensics” which means forum. The study of forensic science is divided into two parts the lab work and the fieldwork. The fieldwork includes the investigation of the crime scene by searching and collecting the evidence to find the type and cause of crime and this collected evidences are being analyzed or tested in the lab which helps to apprehend the guilty. 

Graduate, litigation, law firms, judiciary is more preferable whereas in BA LLB, corporate companies are where they are in demand. Apart from this, there is no significant difference between the career goals for future.
