The undergraduate course will prepare the student with a strong base in the theories of performance, the nuances of the classical, folk and contemporary arts, the rudiments of production and presentation along with rigorous insight. They will be exposed to the practical and theoretical practices of performance and introduced to literary, historical, traditional and cultural explorations of performing arts across cultures.

This course focuses on creating fashion illustrators who will be able to meet the requirements of the rising demands of the fashion and entertainment industries. The unique feature of this course is the manner in which Art and Fashion are brought together in terms of concept and skill. With an emphasis on fashion trends and artistic practice, students will study fashion, illustration, the related histories along with studying fashion figures, different mediums and techniques. They will be guided to develop their individual styles through which they can create branding and identities for themselves.

PhD is a doctorate degree that focuses on academics and research.

The course focuses on interdisciplinary collaboration and the integration of design thinking at all levels of Strategy, Planning and Implementation. The students will have unprecedented access to collaborative partnerships throughout their course as they will have had exposure in working closely with students from our fashion design & fashion communication course.

The animation & Game Design course at WUD prepares students to create solutions through the design medium with creativity as the core focal point. This course exclusively deals with Animation, Game Development on a large scale especially focusing on the entertainment industry. During the course, students will be equipped with skills and techniques of animation and games such as Visual Development, Fundamentals of Animation And Game Development, Character Design & Story Boarding, Stop-motion, VFX for Film & Games, 3D Art, Environment Art, Character Design, Creature Design, Concept Art, Level Design, Lighting and CGI skill-set maintaining a strict level of Industry-standard practices and standards along with Industry professionals/ experts guidance and support.

Diploma in Disaster Resilient Planning and Design programme aims at developing skills and knowledge to critically analyse and apply key concepts in disaster management theory, research, policy and practice, such as vulnerability, resilience, governance, disaster risk reduction and sustainable development; Learn from an interdisciplinary team of professionals, drawing on ideas and methods in design, construction, geography, history, politics, development studies and arts; Develop sufficient knowledge to apply planning & design skills and competencies to meet disaster management career demands; Engage in disaster preparedness and response with the people, projects and organisations that shape humanitarian, health, disaster management, conflict response and intervention issues across India.

Industrial Design as a profession empowers the professional to design consumer centric products and systems related to industry, medical, computer, electronics, environment, and many such verticals. An industrial designer is not just well versed in aesthetics but also has the engineering point of perspective to enable a better production technology for the product. The masters program is designed to build a critical mind that has basic design, visualization, communication and engineering skills. Students learn through free hand sketches, computer aided design (using Adobe Creative Cloud, Alias, Sketchbook, RHINO 3D etc.) various studio workshops (Metal, Plastic, Automotive Clay, Wood, Paint etc.), visiting lectures, and practical hands-on working with the materials. Students are encouraged to learn not only from the course material but also from the various disciplines related to the same.
