Our programme brings together human and organisational aspects of computer-based information systems. This is in contrast to computer science and information technology that stress the underlying technologies. With a Diploma in Arts (Creative Writing) you will examine great creative works and explore your personal creative approach through poetry, life writing, script writing and fiction.

Specialise in Without Specialisation for your Master of Construction at Massey

The Master of Construction at Massey University is a unique degree. It focuses on building in-depth knowledge of specific aspects of construction. It is the only qualification in New Zealand that has specifically developed postgraduate construction courses.

The Diploma in Business Studies is a flexible program that can be completed in one year full-time. 

Massey University’s Postgraduate Diploma in Science and Technology (Conservation Biology) gives you the opportunity to join the pathway to in-depth research at a master's level. The qualification consists of 90 credits of taught courses and 30 credits of research.

The qualification gives you the opportunity to show your analytical thinking and high-level research capability. 

The skills taught in the Bachelor of Business (Financial Planning and Advice) will help those who wish to develop knowledge relevant to this important and growing sector. The qualification can be configured to assist you if you are either wanting to become a financial planner or those already in the industry that are looking to gain further certification. Please note that this qualification does not satisfy the educational requisite established by the Financial Markets Authority under the current Code of Professional Conduct for Financial Advice Services. A student seeking to be licensed as a financial adviser in New Zealand should consider taking the Certificate in Business Studies (Financial Services pathway) which does grant such status. It will be possible to cross credit some of the credits from the certificate back into the bachelor’s degree as part of the elective schedule.

If you want to become a registered social worker, but don’t have a bachelor’s degree in social work, then this qualification is for you.

The Master of Applied Social Work is designed for those with relevant practice experience, or a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline. That could include psychology, education, law, medicine, nursing, sociology, anthropology, theology or case management, or other related disciplines.This qualification will prepare you for practice and registration as a social worker in New Zealand and most other countries.

The Massey MA (Social Anthropology) gives you a different perspective on world affairs. Studying social anthropology develops your understanding of other cultures and ethnic groups. It shows you how your way of life is just one of many possible ways of being human. You’ll learn to challenge your existing beliefs and put yourself in others’ shoes.
