The Master of Fine Arts is an applied research degree benchmarked against national and international standards with a distinct emphasis on art-making and writing.The program is shaped by your proposal and can be completed in one discipline, or across several, and provides a qualification necessary for careers such as tertiary teaching, writing or critiquing, museum or gallery curatorship.

Amongst other things, you will learn how to prepare budgets, monitor business performance against budgets, determine internal controls to minimise financial risk, and analyse and interpret financial information to inform decision-making.

The Graduate Diploma in Accounting is useful for people who may be seeking a promotion within their current job or who want to broaden their skill base. The qualification allows you to extend your knowledge in a complementary discipline without having to undertake a full degree. With a skillset in accounting you will be in constant demand for your ability to plan and record the financial performance of every kind of commercial venture. You could work in a diverse range of organisations, including public sector entities, national and multi-national corporations, NGO’s and self-employment options.

 You'll be in high demand as a construction professional and have the technical,work-ready skills to price and manage construction projects and challenge the status quo to improve processes and drive efficiencies.

As an occupational therapist, your focus will be on ensuring individuals, groups and populations within the community can do the things that are important to them. You will work with people who have had illness, injury, or a disability, and with a range of ages from the newborn to older people.

Then this is the qualification for you! You will learn how to effectively implement processes that actively support and enhance the visitor experience and will evaluate local, national and international tourism operating environments.
An educational field trip to an iconic New Zealand tourism destination is included. You will have the chance to engage in tourism activities first hand to build your experience of the industry. This will help to build your knowledge and connect the theory you have learned with practice.

The program provides you with the opportunity to further develop your undergraduate experience of the history and contemporary conventions of your field. Gain a variety of transferable skills and become an effective team worker who can take risks and think laterally to solve problems. Better understanding and advanced learning, including research skills in studio and theory, will present you with higher level employment prospects in education, or the arts industry and management sectors. Alternatively, you may become a practising artist in various disciplines and media.

This program has an emphasis on exploration and experimentation. You will develop individual projects which study ceramics as a medium with its own formal language, skills and history, within a broader context of fine arts and crafts.
