Developed by a pharmaceutical and cosmetic team, this degree course provides an understanding of the chemistry and formulation of pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, from design through to manufacture.

On this course, you’ll cover compounding, formulation chemistry, pharmaceutical processes and technologies, microbiology, professional and quantitative science skills, cell biology and chemistry, pharmaceutical formulation, pharmacology, chemical analysis, quality and stability, cosmetic science and products, and pharmaceutical product development and manufacture.

Intellectually and artistically demanding, this course offers daily dance classes in contemporary techniques, ballet for contemporary dancers, fusion (street, urban, hip-hop), improvisation and African principles.

Alongside developing an outstanding dance technique, you will acquire critical thinking, technical and artistic skills to prepare you for a range of dance-related careers. This course explores the fabric of the world around us - from wallpaper and soft furnishings to transport upholstery and luxury fashion. The curriculum will give you the practical, digital and professional skills required to become a designer in the contemporary global textile market.

You can specialise in one of four areas – mixed media, print, knit or weave – and will explore the key applications of fashion, interior and lifestyle.

• Mixed media focuses on creating contemporary collections using embroidery and embellishment to build up surfaces.
• Print explores the translation of imagery onto textile surfaces with the inventive use of screen printing and dyeing processes.
• Knit and weave concentrate on developing innovative textile structures through yarn and fibres.

Applied Computing BSc (Hons) is a practical, vocationally oriented course providing students with knowledge and skills for the modern, computer-driven workplace. The course is a contemporary mix of traditional computing subjects with professional and work-related skills.

The core modules include Introduction to Computing, Computer Ethics, Data Analytics, Information and Database Design, Programming in Python, Project Management, Human-Computer Interaction, Programming with APIs and Frameworks, Mobile Application Design and Development, and Artificial Intelligence.
