The Graphic Design (Illustration) course will build both your Graphic Design industry skills and develop your own personal visual style. You will be taught how to interpret briefs, identify and solve problems to create innovative design illustration solutions.

On the Graphic Design (Illustration) course you will have the opportunity to explore and experiment with an extensive range of media and craft skills, taught by expert practitioners. Working on projects that will allow your creativity and talent to thrive over all print, digital and analogue media, platforms.

Though our close relationships with industry you will be set live projects giving enabling you to have work selected and published.

The course will prepare you in all aspects of graphic design and illustration to prosper in the exciting, everchanging creative industry. You will work towards building a professional creative portfolio that will showcase your unique visual voice.

Learn about accounting scandals and incidences of fraud, and find out how they can be detected, prevented and deterred, with study of the legal environment in which forensic accounting operates. You can start your study of languages at DMU in either French, Mandarin or Spanish at beginner, GCSE (intermediate) or advanced level and learn at a grade and pace that suits you and your needs.

Learning a new language not only helps to provide you with linguistic skills but can also enhance your skills in your native language and develop your presentation, written and critical skills.

You will cover Education Studies modules including Perspectives on Education, Inclusion and Diversity, Understanding Learning and Wellbeing, and Special Educational Needs, Disability and Neurodiversity. You will also take part in weekly language practice and conversation sessions, and intensive workshops, where you will develop your language skills through the study of the country and its society, culture and people.

Analyse the most significant issues of the 21st century, such as factors that influence states going to war, why some states are weaker than others are, and how global order is maintained. Our course will enable you to obtain an advanced understanding of the modern world, including the way in which states, regions and international organisations interact, and practice a range of methods and methodologies to support research and policy analysis.

The key business skills that you will gain - project management, marketing, website design, branding and business planning – make this course the ideal platform for creative entrepreneurs to launch their own design businesses and consultancies, or for those who hope to take up senior roles in design strategy or brand management. The course is designed for students with a good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite applications, such as Photoshop, Acrobat and InDesign, and will develop these technical skills to an advanced level.

You will select a specialist area of study from diverse options, ranging from retail, museum and exhibition, and product design, to interior, footwear, visual communication, and design innovation.
