This course studies anatomy, physiology, energy metabolism, nutrition, sport and exercise psychology and other related subjects. You'll examine the promotion of exercise and nutrition to improve people's physical and mental health.

With very few budding writers making a living from writing alone, this course offers creative writers the chance to learn not only the craft of writing, but also current trends in publishing from world-renowned professionals. It offers the opportunity to develop a creative writing portfolio at the same time as getting to grips with how the publishing process works.

You'll benefit from teaching staff who have practical experience of working in publishing and/or creative writing industries, attend a series of masterclasses across the disciplines and work on live projects for Kingston University Press.

• Environmental Management MSc – this core pathway explores the rationale behind the exploitation of natural environments. It provides you with detailed knowledge and understanding of the important relationships between sustainable environmental management and natural ecosystems and the value of adopting an integrated approach to studying both.
• Environmental Management (Energy) MSc – this pathway is timely, nationally and internationally relevant, given the world's energy needs, as well as the surrounding political debates regarding fossil fuels and increasingly, renewables, which form such an essential component of the world's existence.

The recent evolution of Internet services, with video representing more than 80% of the data traffic, and the growth of on-demand video streaming (as offered by YouTube, Netflix, Amazon) and live streaming (as offered by Facebook, Twitch, etc.) require new professional roles. The parallel evolution of wireless networks (with 5G and in particular the Internet of Things paradigm) requires strong knowledge of the latest wireless communications strategies and standards for such professional roles.

The MSc Course in Mobile Networks and Media Streaming will address both areas above and the graduates will be able to apply for jobs in the wide market opened by such evolution.

On this course, you'll gain detailed knowledge of building maintenance, care, conservation and structure, reflecting the work of a building surveyor. You'll study the business and legal aspects of property and construction. You'll learn how to advise clients of legal and financial implications resulting from the condition of buildings.

You'll examine building designs, poor, good and/or sustainable. You'll use sketching and computer-aided design packages. You'll also examine reasons for constructions and buildings failing, which is a key knowledge base for chartered building surveyors.

A major group project and an independent research project will give you the opportunity to showcase your learning.

This Modern European Philosophy MA course is recognised as one of the most challenging and stimulating philosophy masters programmes in the UK. Based on a focused study of the fundamental texts of the modern European philosophical tradition, it provides an ideal preparation for doctoral research in philosophy or related fields in the humanities and social sciences. Beginning with a foundation module on Kant's Critique of Pure Reason, the course adopts Kant's critical philosophy as a historical and conceptual basis for the understanding of subsequent European philosophy as a whole. In addition to focused modules on Kant, Hegel, Nietzsche and Heidegger, you may also choose from a wide range of modules dealing on contemporary philosophy, critical theory, psychoanalysis, contemporary art, and so on.

This course offers the knowledge and skills for designing, developing and operating secure IP-based networks. It offers practical skills in the specification, design, modelling and implementation of software and hardware. You will gain specialist knowledge of digital communications, multimedia communications, wireless networks and security issues. You will study the technologies of LTE and 5G wireless networks and the Internet of Things.
