This is a flexible research-based Master of Music.

Practitioners are able to study in areas such as:

Musicologists are able to study in areas such as:

• Critical and cultural musicology

The MMus can be regarded as a qualification in its own right, but also offers preparation for doctoral study, not least because of the strong research emphasis.

This three-year Contemporary and Popular Music degree focuses on a range of musics and approaches, from acoustic singer-songwriting to experimental electronic forms, and from ethnomusicology to cultural theory. About Game Engineering
Our degrees in Game Engineering focus on the design, development and implementation of software that drives computer games (rather than the artistic element of games development).

They enable you to design, develop and implement computer graphics software and applications on a variety of architectures including games consoles, graphic workstations and advanced 3D reality environments.

They also allow you to exploit such software and hardware in entertainment, engineering, design and scientific visualisation.
