Our Games Art degree was designed after consultation with industry experts from a number of these companies and aims to prepare you for a career creating interactive worlds and charismatic characters for the games industry.

Taking an intensely practical approach that is designed to mimic the working environment found in the games industry, we’ll work to develop your understanding of the creative and technical possibilities of games art. Our studio-based course will guide you from the basics of digital art, through character and environment modelling, texturing, lighting, level design and concept art, to the latest technologies in traditional and handheld game art.

We share your passion for games and offer a supportive atmosphere where you can show your work and respond to critiques, which may come from staff, your peers or guest experts from industry. Graduate Sport Rehabilitators (GSRs) are in demand due to our increasing participation in sport and exercise and the injuries that we inevitably sustain. Sport rehabilitators are trained in the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries and are essential across all levels of sport, from amateur to elite. Our British Association of Sport Rehabilitators and Trainers (BASRaT) accredited BSc (Hons) Sport Rehabilitation degree offers industry-approved training ready for a career working with sports men and women and members of the public.

We focus on equipping you with hands-on practical experience teamed with an invaluable grounding in theory, so you can graduate with a well-rounded skillset. Our dedicated and professionally experienced team will guide you as you explore musculoskeletal injury prevention screening, specific exercise therapy and clinical treatment skills. Extensive practical and laboratory work will help to cement your understanding of human anatomy, the biomechanics and physiology of the human body, and the pathology of injury and dysfunction.

• Getting out of the classroom and into the workplace is a key part of your learning, so you’ll undertake a placement in a health and social care setting at level HE5 of the course.
• We’ll encourage you to engage in voluntary work in health and social care environments throughout the course. These activities contribute towards your portfolio of evidence, ready to impress employers when you enter the jobs market.
• By studying alongside students who are already health and social care professionals, you’ll be able to share in the knowledge and experience they have developed in their working environments, helping you to provide the highest standard of care for your own patients in the future.
• A link tutor provides academic communication between our London Academic Centre at Regent College London and the University of Bolton’s academic school so that the experience you receive as an off-campus student is equivalent to that of an on-campus student.
• As an off-campus student you'll also have access to the support of the University’s dedicated off-campus team and resources, to help make you truly feel part of the institution.
• You’ll also have access to the University’s e-learning resources, an extensive e-library and the support of University librarians.
