Take the next step in your career using psychology in the world of work. Join our British Psychological Society (BPS) accredited course to get your Stage 1 qualification in Occupational Psychology and by the end you should be ready to continue on to your Stage 2 training.

You'll learn about how we motivate employees, how we train them, how we recruit, how we design jobs, how we assess performance, how we manage well-being, how we lead, how we manage organisational change, and more.

Whether you've studied medicine, physiotherapy or have a strong clinical background in musculoskeletal health (MSK), Sports and Exercise Medicine will allow you to specialise in managing sports injuries and illnesses, exploring the relationship between exercise and health, and get real life experience in the field.

At Nottingham you'll learn anatomy through prosection, gaining an understanding of both surface anatomy and medical imaging in our dedicated dissection room.  You will also have practical teaching to help you assess and identify sporting injuries and illnesses in a clinical setting, as well as taking an evidence based approach to sports injury management. You will also learn about the public health aspect of physical activity and have the opportunity to complete your own research project.

We want you to be able to go where you want to in your career, and we'll help you get there with placements at real sporting events throughout you time with us and gain first-hand experience from consultant Sports and Exercise Medicine doctors and physiotherapists.

Big data is playing an increasingly important role in our society. The need for expert and ethical data analysis is in high demand across many industries. This course gives you the professional and problem-solving skills for a range of high-level careers.

This interdisciplinary masters will be taught by the Schools of Computer Science and Mathematical Sciences. Our academics conduct their own international-quality research. They use this to teach you the latest techniques and technologies in this field.

Develop your knowledge in key topics such as statistical modelling, machine learning and advanced algorithms. We offer a range of flexible optional modules. This allows you to study a topic that interests you.
