This MPhys Physics with Mathematics course provides a unique opportunity to study physics with a 6-month, paid industry placement in your fourth year. On this BSc Mathematics with French degree you'll spend your a year in France or Belgium, studying at one of our partner universities. This degree is a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in French, while developing your mathematical problem-solving skills. You’ll study pure and applied maths, statistics and operational research. You’ll graduate with sought after skills and experience of working and studying in another language.

The Amputation and Prosthetic Rehabilitation MSc is a flexible programme of higher-level study suitable for both clinicians and non-clinicians who would like to work in this field. Learn about a patient’s journey from pre-amputation to prosthetic rehabilitation, exploring the physical and psychological aspects of patient care.

This course is subject to revalidation.

This course is a great way to improve your specialist knowledge if you already work, or would like to work, in this area. It’s ideal for multidisciplinary healthcare professionals from backgrounds such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, prosthetics and orthotics, engineering, nursing and other related professions.

You’ll explore contemporary issues related to limb loss, and develop expertise in research, clinical practice and commerce. This will involve studying a wide range of current issues facing the delivery of amputation and prosthetic rehabilitation in a variety of different settings, including:

• Global issues related to limb loss and access to prosthetic service

The course is delivered by healthcare rehabilitation experts whose amputation and prosthetics research is helping to develop the field. It also looks at the perspectives of patients, families, carers and clinicians taking a person-centred approach.

Our Amputee Rehabilitation and Prosthetic Use module is endorsed by the British Association of Chartered Physiotherapist in Amputee Rehabilitation (BACPAR).
