This specialist course offers a unique opportunity to advance our understanding of nanoscience, photonics and quantum physics through your own experimental physics research. Previous projects have involved exploring the properties of carbon nanotubes and optimising holograms for use in quantum computing.

Chemistry plays a key role in tackling some of the world’s biggest problems. The MSci Geophysics master's degree at Southampton is a wide-ranging degree, which combines many of the sciences.
