Economics aims to understand the activities of the different agents in the economy – consumers, producers and the government – and how they all fit together.

Our degree will give you the ability to explain complex data in simple terms to different audiences. You’ll also develop excellent mathematical, statistical and problem-solving skills.

In Business Law, you’ll study commercial law and business legal regulations. These include company law, competition law and human rights law.

Business Law can only be studied as a second subject as a joint Honours option.

Industry 4.0 (Fourth Industrial Revolution) is the confluence of cyber-physical systems that are reshaping most sectors including the maritime sector. Autonomous technology is poised to transform the sector. Crewless vessels are now under development. It's already possible to explore the most extreme oceanic environments using autonomous and robotic systems. Our approach to the English & Creative writing course is innovative, modern and friendly, giving you a comprehensive understanding of English literature as a core basis for your creative work.
