Master of Science in Innovation and Marketing Management

Master of Science in Innovation and Marketing Management

at University of Strathclyde United Kingdom

Overview

The 21st century is witnessing an unprecedented growth in technological innovation, across all business sectors. This Masters degree, unique in Europe, brings together the fields of marketing and engineering in an integrated course that enables graduates to pursue a professional career in either direction with tremendous success.

Today’s business professionals are required to have a strong understanding of how technology and innovation must meet with the demand for technology driven products and/or services. However, the majority of business undergraduates lack the necessary educational background that would allow them to fully understand how emerging technologies open the way to new business opportunities. Likewise, graduates from engineering lack the necessary business background that would enable them to focus their innovativeness and skills in economically sustainable ideas for new products and/or services.

Study with us

  • Only course in Europe that integrates marketing and engineering in a single course

Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Pharmacology

Pharmacology is a vibrant area of biomedical science that studies drug action (how medicines and other drugs work and are processed by the body).

Drug action affects all of us in one way or another, through the medicines that we take, the effects alcohol or caffeine consumption or the inadvertent exposure to poisons and environmental pollutants, as well as many other aspects of modern life such as drug addiction and drug abuse including the abuse of drugs in sport.

Pharmacological knowledge and understanding improves the lives of millions of people across the world by providing vital answers at every stage of the discovery, testing and clinical use of new medicines. The ability to use medicines effectively, to maximise their benefit and minimise risk and harm, relies on this knowledge. As new diseases emerge, and older medicines - most notably antibiotics - no longer work as well, the contribution of pharmacology to finding better and safer medicines becomes all the more vital.

Study with us
Studying BSc Hons degree in Pharmacology at the University of Strathclyde, you'll learn at Strathclyde Institute of Pharmacy & Biomedical Sciences. A leading centre for research, the Institute is focused on developing new medicines, better medicines and better use of medicines.

There are a number of ways you can study law at Strathclyde, one such way being the BA degree in combination with another subject.

Law is concerned with the study of the obligations, duties and rights which every member of society has in relation to one another and to the state.

The study of law is regarded not as purely vocational, but part of a broader education. Please note, however, that studying law within the BA degree will not qualify you for entry to the legal profession. For professional qualifications in Law students follow the LLB programme.
