Our early years education course prepares you to become an exceptional educational professional working with the youngest learners. This course is guided by current policy and legislation including the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework (2012), Working Together to Safeguard Children (2018) and The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (1989).

You will be introduced to historical and contemporary constructions of childhood, investigate theories of child development and develop an underpinning knowledge of play-based approaches. This course meets the Stage 1 training requirements developed by the British Psychological Society’s (BPS) Division of Health Psychology. It will prepare you to advance to Stage 2 training, which enables you to become a health psychologist.

On our Theatre and Performance Practice MA degree course, you will explore your practice both as an actor/creator and theatre practitioner. You will investigate and develop your skills and knowledge of theatre languages, including text, music, space, or physicality. You will observe creative processes, acting, and embodiment from varying viewpoints, including:
