Classes are on Mondays so you have more flexibility during the week  for your required field placement and other life priorities.
We are fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE). What does this mean and why is it important, you ask? Good Question! The CSWE mission is to ensure those attending social work programs will receive high quality education pertinent to the profession. CUW had to meet vigorous standards and criteria in our programming in order to be in good standing.

Through our social work department, CUW also provides an accredited Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) program. Full- and part-time Advanced Standing options are also available for those with a BSW degree from CUW or any CSWE- accredited program.

Concordia’s MBA in Management Information Systems will provide you with in-depth knowledge of database modeling, design and implementation. You’ll gain experience in implementing a database design by creating a physical database using the Oracle Application Express tool and SQL - and you’ll have the ability to sit for the Oracle Database SQL Expert exam. You’ll also learn from experienced professors who will help you understand decision support systems (DSS) on topics like data mining, data warehousing architectures, expert systems, artificial intelligence systems and executive information systems.

Because we want to make this program work with your schedule, we offer classes at our main campus, our off-site locations and online. Our MBA program is designed for working professionals, which means that you can get your degree in two years - while still working full-time. Whatever your schedule looks like, our expert faculty will work with you so that you can start providing excellent service to your employees with marketable, in-demand abilities.

With an MBA in Management Information Systems, you’ll have the skillset and knowledge to lead diverse groups of people in the IT field. You’ll be able to analyze complex business scenarios and create a data model. You’ll also know how to design and implement projects within a corporation and apply insight gained from studying proven management tools and techniques. Not only will you be prepared to manage IT departments, you’ll also come out of the program with increased financial competence, today’s innovative business skills, and the ability to more clearly and concisely communicate your message. This degree offers a Lutheran Christian perspective on public health and prepares you to serve Christ around the world as a globally minded citizen working to protect and promote the public’s health. It is an engaging, multidisciplinary educational program filled with practical application opportunities to prepare you to be a strong, competitive candidate in the public health sector.

In this degree program, you will have the opportunity to personalize your concentration depending on your interest. Regardless of which concentration you choose, all undergraduate students will complete a minimum of 120 credits, including 45 credit hours of general education core curricula, 25 credit hours of required public health coursework, and 3 credit hours of a culminating/capstone project

Computer scientists are instrumental to anything and everything that involves computers. And let’s be honest, pretty much everything today involves computers. Robotics, virtual reality, and videogames are often cited as future job areas, but you could also be a part of many other fields—animation, music, automobiles, analytics…the list goes on.

What comes to mind when you think of computer science? In our modern world, there are decreasingly fewer things that don't rely on computers and technology in some shape or form, making computer science one of the most practical and versatile fields of study out there. At Concordia, we define computer science as solving problems using technology. If you can learn to create and manage technology solutions, you can apply your skills to just about any career path.

With five different concentrations available and substantial flexibility in electives, you have the power to customize this degree and make it your own. In this program, you'll receive a well-rounded education through the Concordia Core, as well as a firm foundation of computer science knowledge through our Technology Core. You'll learn the ins and outs of hardware, software, operating systems, databases, coding, and user interfaces. From there, you can branch out into one or more concentrations of computer science, specializing in the areas that are of most interest to you. You can use your electives to earn multiple concentrations, or to explore coursework in any other field at Concordia, broadening your knowledge base.

Our goal in the Master of Occupational Therapy program is to prepare you as an outstanding occupational therapist, who will positively impact communities by empowering others to reach their highest potential through leadership, best practice, advocacy, and innovation. We emphasize the importance of serving all clients with the best care possible.

You’ll develop the skills necessary to enable people (persons, groups, or populations) to do their day-to-day occupations for the purpose of improving or enabling participation. (OTPF-4, 2020) By combining classroom, laboratory, and supervised clinic-based instruction, our courses train you for a wide range of occupational therapy settings.

Through our program you’ll be able to:

• Demonstrate advocacy skills to be an effective change-maker in surrounding communities
• Use best practice for the evaluation, intervention, and measurement of outcomes for individuals or communities
• Effectively and efficiently solve occupation-based problems
• Develop leadership skills
• Effectively communicate and collaborate in a variety of communities

Students in the MOT program will have the opportunity to explore the entry-level Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTDe) degree. At the conclusion of the second semester, students will be given the choice to continue in the MOT program or declare interest in the OTDe program. Students who declare interest in the OTDe will be evaluated by OT faculty to determine eligibility to enroll in OTDe coursework.

This is a full time graduate professional program taught in a blended format. Students interact with their classmates and professors online before and after in person classes, which focus on active learning and/or lab activities. Students apply to and enroll in one of three tracks, as determined by their educational background:

• Accelerated
  • Students starting as a freshman at CUW looking to earn a bachelor's and master's degree in 4.5 years
• Bridge
  • COTAs looking to further their education and opportunities as an OTR
• Post-baccalaureate
  • Applicants holding a bachelor's degree

This two year graduate, full-time program is designed to prepare you to become a competent speech-language pathologist who provides quality care in a respectful, culturally sensitive, caring, and knowledgeable manner. Committed and experienced faculty will guide the didactic program along with high-quality clinical experiences to prepare you for professional certification and licensure.

The program at CUW is committed to offering an engaging environment and access to off-site community service and clinical opportunities, in addition to the soon to be completed state-of-the-art on campus Concordia University Wisconsin Speech, Language, and Hearing clinic - everything you need to be prepared to succeed in the profession of speech-language pathology.

In addition to the on-site CUW Speech, Language, and Hearing Clinic we will offer engaging clinical externship and practicum opportunities in a variety of educational and medical settings.  Our goal is to provide you with rich quality clinical placements interacting with diverse populations in a variety of settings.

Upon successful completion of all requirements and graduation from the master of science in speech-language pathology program at CUW, individuals will be prepared to apply for initial licensure required for practice in the state of Wisconsin.

In this program, you will learn the skills needed to help prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children and adults.

As an SLP, you will have the opportunity to work in many different education, health care, and research settings with varying roles and levels of responsibility. You'll also have the opportunity to work with a diverse client population serving individuals across the lifespan. In many settings, you may often work as part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team, which may include teachers, physicians, audiologists, psychologists, social workers, physical and occupational therapists, and rehabilitation counselors.

This master’s program focuses on how the family relates to society. With a strong emphasis on counseling skills, you’ll be given a great opportunity to bring Christian compassion and understanding to the challenges that face modern families. This program teaches you how to help parents, teachers, and students face the challenges that confront them. You’ll learn skills that will allow you to positively impact a child’s well-being and equip parents to navigate today’s culture.

It’s important for kids to stay healthy, and in order to do that they need to move and have a better understanding of their health. With a degree in K-12 physical education, you will teach students the importance of exercise and health education in order to set them up for a healthy lifestyle.

To become a physical education teacher, there is a variety of coursework involved. You will have a better understanding of the human body with exercise physiology, motor development, anatomy, and physiology. You’ll also learn the ins and out of health education with personal, family, and community health. To get to this point, you’ll gain clinical experience and feel prepared to support learners with adaptive physical education needs. Upon completion of the program, you will receive a Physical Education, Health, Athletic Coaching, and Adaptive Physical Education license.

As part of the MBA in Finance program,  you’ll learn from current industry professionals – worldwide practitioner instructors – who are dedicated to leading others in their field of expertise. You’ll gain the tools necessary to make a powerful impact in a wide variety of positions within business. This program offers the benefit of flexible classes designed for working professionals and the unique perspectives that result from a diverse student body. By the time you earn your MBA, you’ll be equipped with the knowledge and experience today’s employers are looking for so you can stand out in the workforce as a highly competitive candidate.

With an MBA in Finance, you’ll develop the skillset to make important decisions based on financial analysis and strategic thinking. You’ll know how to handle fraud and legal issues, how to manage large financial institutions, and how to treat mergers and acquisitions. You’ll even graduate with a portfolio of your work that you can show future employers to stand out from other candidates. What’s more, you’ll leave this program with the ability to communicate more clearly, lead diverse groups of people, and have confidence in your work.

If you intend to pursue a Master of Divinity at seminary, this major provides you with a basic overview of the Scriptures and Lutheran doctrine. While our curriculum teaches Lutheran doctrine and our school is affiliated with the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod, all students who desire to prepare for the pastoral office (regardless of denominational affiliation) are welcome. Our theology faculty is made up of pastors dedicated to guiding, challenging, and encouraging you as you work toward completion of this program.

You will study the background and teaching of the Lutheran Church as confessed in the Book of Concord and will be grounded in the Lutheran ethos, identity, and ethic. Although not required, you are encouraged to double major in theological languages alongside the applied theology major. This program provides a solid base for further theological training; it does not train you to be a pastor.
