Mason’s operations and supply chain management (OSCM) concentration is devoted to the management of resources and processes used by an organization to produce goods or services. Students with an OSCM concentration learn how to perform strategic and tactical planning, enabling them to efficiently and effectively manage the activities involved in transforming organizational resources into customer value. OSCM students acquire modeling, business analytics, and technology skills for addressing a range of business problems.

If you are interested in improving and managing processes and supply chain operations while managing people and technology in businesses and organizations spanning service, retail, manufacturing, consulting, public sector (including government contracting), and nonprofit organizations, then the operations and supply chain management concentration is for you.

Software engineering spans all types of software, including mobile and web applications, software services, enterprise software, and large complex systems. We revise courses regularly to keep up with changes in software engineering.

Public Policy-M.P.P.
The master of public policy leads to a degree for aspiring or experienced professionals who seek career advancement through cutting-edge education and training in policy analysis and development in increasingly technical and global environments. The program prepares students to be reflective practitioners who develop, implement, manage, analyze, evaluate, and effect innovative change in the public and private sectors through a course of study that emphasizes the fundamentals of policy development; the role of technology, analytic assessment, and modeling for policy evaluation; and the implications of international and global perspectives on policy formation. Courses are offered primarily in late afternoon and evening to fit the schedules of busy professionals.

Computer Science-M.S.
The Computer Science graduate program prepares students for research and professional practice in computer science and related technologies. The program includes both fundamentals and advanced work in the areas of artificial intelligence and databases, programming languages and software engineering, systems and networks, theoretical computer science, and visual computing. Graduate classes are divided into basic classes, which have no graduate course prerequisite, and advanced classes, which have a graduate class as a prerequisite. Graduate classes are generally offered in the late afternoon and evening. Financial aid in the form of graduate assistantships may be available for full-time degree-seeking students.

The Master of Science in Telecommunications offers a blend of cutting-edge practice-oriented courses in network engineering, cloud computing, wireless communications (e. g. 5G), and cyber security. This industry-oriented program is designed for students who wish to enter the field of network engineering or are working in the field and want to advance their knowledge. The program concentrates on practical applications of network engineering, rather than on a theoretical approach, while providing a thorough education in the necessary engineering principles. Hands-on laboratory courses provide students with practical skills and knowledge needed to hit the ground running after graduation. Mason’s finance degree prepares you for finance careers in corporate and public finance, investment banking, commercial banks and credit unions, mutual funds, portfolio management, venture capital, trading, personal finance banking, and federal and state government regulatory agencies.

Students complete the theater core. To organize their advance work within the major, students elect a course of study from four concentrations:
