The Bachelor of Arts in History looks at the range of human experience: how people have lived in the past, how they live and coexist in the present, and the links between the two. Operations and Supply Chain Management (OSCM) Concentration
Mason’s operations and supply chain management (OSCM) concentration is devoted to the management of resources and processes used by an organization to produce goods or services. Students with an OSCM concentration learn how to perform strategic and tactical planning, enabling them to efficiently and effectively manage the activities involved in transforming organizational resources into customer value. OSCM students acquire modeling, business analytics, and technology skills for addressing a range of business problems.

If you are interested in improving and managing processes and supply chain operations while managing people and technology in businesses and organizations spanning service, retail, manufacturing, consulting, public sector (including government contracting), and nonprofit organizations, then the operations and supply chain management concentration is for you.

In this concentration, you will learn to:

• Analyze and manage supply chain operations
• Manage projects efficiently and effectively
• Implement Total Quality Management in an organization
• Make optimal resource allocation decisions
• Manage and improve online and omnichannel retail business operations
• Leverage information systems for managing business operations

This program prepares students for beginning generalist professional practice in social work at the baccalaureate level and has been granted full accreditation by the Council on Social Work Education. All students are expected to abide by the Code of Ethics of the National Association of Social Workers.

Chemistry, BS
This program is approved by the American Chemical Society. Upon completion, students who choose either the BS in Chemistry with no concentration or with the Analytical Chemistry concentration are certified to the society. Students that have a keen interest in sustainability should choose the Environmental Chemistry concentration. Students planning professional careers in chemistry should choose this degree.

Systems Engineering-M.S.
Systems engineers are the visionaries who take a global perspective of the system.  Whereas discipline-specific engineers deal with system components, the systems engineer is concerned with the integration of these components and the overall success of the system throughout its life cycle. Systems engineers focus on needs and requirements, design, production, deployment, operation, maintenance, refinement, and retirement of systems, considering multiple objectives and constraints from different stakeholder groups. Systems engineering comprises product, process, and resource management and focuses on architecture, human factors, decision support, performance and evaluation, and management. Our educational and research program reflects the systems engineer's unique perspective on the system life cycle.

Majors learn to construct and evaluate messages across platforms—web, print, audio and visual.

The BA in Criminology, Law and Society provides a focused study of the justice system and social, human, and moral problems raised in the justice field. This course of study prepares students for careers in law enforcement, corrections, the courts, investigations, juvenile justice, private and homeland security, and related social and human services. The BA in Criminology, Law and Society is well-suited for students who wish to study the field while branching out into related areas of study.

The MFA in Visual and Performing Arts is a terminal degree which prepares students as professional artists and scholars who can work within their specialty and teach at the university level. Creative work and skill building are at the core of the study.
