The MBA in Accounting program prepares students for managerial positions in various types of organizations. The program builds on core business competencies and functional specialization to impart to its students decision analysis skills and a strategic perspective of business problems. This program is not intended to include sufficient course work in accounting and taxation to qualify students for licensure as certified public accountants. Students intending to pursue licensure may need to supplement the program requirements with other accounting, business, legal studies, and tax courses, taken under advisement.

Labor studies offers students a broad background in the multiple perspectives on – and different analytical approaches to – job and pay issues in an international context.

Any application or system must have ways to prevent and protect from cyber attacks, to allow secure access and protection of data stored in distributed locations accessible online. Courses in this concentration offer a hands-on approach to learning networking, security and systems programming. All courses include a significant experiential component.
