Neuroscience
Neuroscience majors combine coursework in psychology, biology, and chemistry to gain insight and understanding about how the brain, body, and nervous system work. Students who pursue a neuroscience degree often go into medicine, teaching, or research, including robotics and bioengineering.

Neuroscience is generally designed to provide rigorous preparation for advanced study in a PhD program. In addition to coursework in psychology and biology, classes in physics and chemistry are also required. Urban Ecology
Urban Ecology is a subfield of ecology that deals with the distribution, abundance and interactions of plants and animals (including humans) within urban and suburban environments. Graduates with master's degrees in urban ecology find employment in a wide variety of public and private institutions and agencies, including environmental education, environmental consulting, natural resource management and conservation with both non-governmental and local/state/federal organizations. Some pursue advanced professional degrees.

Computer Engineering

The BACHELOR of SCIENCE in COMPUTER ENGINEERING program is concerned with the design of hardware and software for computing devices and systems. Computer Engineering students take a rigorous set of courses in hardware and software related topics. Graduates with a degree in computer engineering typically secure jobs that involve the design of embedded systems, mobile devices, automotive sensing and control systems and biomedical devices to name a few. They are also capable of working in software roles such as software engineering and web and mobile development.

Web and Mobile Engineering

The concentration in Web and Mobile Engineering is aimed at educating students in the field of Web and mobile computer applications. This is a continually growing and changing field. Almost all computer applications must provide access on the Web and/or mobile devices. Courses in this concentration offer a hands-on approach to learning Web and mobile programming.

Jewish Studies
Jewish studies courses explore all dimensions of Jewish life – past and present. Jewish studies majors look closely at post-Holocaust life and thought, Judaism and global politics, anti-Semitism, and other forms of racism. Students may focus on Jewish history throughout the world, the intercultural facets of diverse Jewish populations, interfaith dimensions, and Judaism and sexuality. They may look at how Jewish culture intersects with the media and the arts, including film, literature, television, theater, and the internet.

Forensic Linguistics, the scientific study of language, is a vital investigative tool for law enforcement and intelligence experts in the United States and around the world. The Master of Arts (MA) in Forensic Linguistics, the first program of its kind in the Western Hemisphere, will teach you how to use a linguist’s core tools, including phonetics, syntax, semantics and sociolinguistics, to analyze language in legal and other real-world settings. Learn from brilliant scholars who have worked with the FBI and consulted on an extensive array of criminal cases and counterterrorism efforts. Video, Television, and Film

The BS in Video, Television, and Film adds a film component to the video/television degree program, with courses such as advanced theatrical production, screenwriting, and cinematography; this degree also requires a media production practicum and coursework in science and computer science.

Bioengineering is designed to bridge the gap between the life sciences and physical sciences by applying engineering concepts, methods, and techniques to biology and medicine. An understanding of fundamental physiological processes using engineering methodology requires a broad background in basic engineering, sciences, and mathematics. Biomedical engineers may design instruments, devices, and software; bring together knowledge from many technical sources to develop new procedures; or conduct research needed to solve clinical problems. In industry, they may create products that require an in-depth understanding of living systems and technology. They frequently work in research and development or in quality assurance.
