In our fully accredited Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations program, you will develop skills in digital and social media, integrated marketing, crisis communication, visual design, online video content, copywriting, and media relations.

This program focuses on information systems and information technology. Students will decide on specific technologies that they are most interested in managing: Network and cyber–security (also earn CISCO certification), web and commerce, database and big data, healthcare and enterprise systems (look for our SAP certification coming soon).

Video, Television, and Business

The BS in Video, Television, and Business combines an in-depth overview of television production and industry standards with coursework in legal issues, contracts, marketing, and management. If you are interested in working on the business side of media and entertainment, this program will give you the specialized skills and acumen you need to make killer deals.

Jewish Studies
Jewish studies courses explore all dimensions of Jewish life – past and present. Jewish studies majors look closely at post-Holocaust life and thought, Judaism and global politics, anti-Semitism, and other forms of racism. Students may focus on Jewish history throughout the world, the intercultural facets of diverse Jewish populations, interfaith dimensions, and Judaism and sexuality. They may look at how Jewish culture intersects with the media and the arts, including film, literature, television, theater, and the internet.

Sustainability Studies
The BA program looks at sustainability through a liberal arts lens. This degree has more freedom to choose electives than the BS program since there are less science and math courses required. It is designed for students who aspire to work in public policy, law, urban planning, community development or business.

International Year One in Engineering will prepare you to enter your next semester of a bachelor’s degree program at Hofstra University. The Master of Science (MS) in Medical Physics combines a strong foundation in science and technology with varied opportunities for hands-on clinical experience through Hofstra University’s partnership with the Northwell Health System. You will graduate exceptionally prepared for the next step in your academic or professional pursuits – whether you go on to earn a PhD, become a clinical medical physicist, or develop new technologies. This program can be completed in two years and is accredited by the CAMPEP (Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Education Programs). Scholarships are available for qualified candidates.

This degree is for students who may be interested in a double major in areas such as education, marketing, computer science, or film. Students have the option of a general fine arts degree, or a specialization in design, painting, or sculpture-industrial design.
