The field lets you combine engineering and the social sciences to create systems that improve efficiency -- whether in an emergency room, a manufacturing floor, or a baseball lineup.

In the Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering program, you'll first build a foundation in universal engineering theories, mathematics, and the physical sciences and also take courses in accounting, management, computer science, and the social sciences.

The BS in Applied Physics allows students to combine the BS in Physics with a concentration in biochemistry, computer science, or engineering. The curriculum includes electives in humanities and social science to give the student a general background to supplement training as a specialist.

Psychology BA students are taught to think critically about truth claims involving behavior and to reason and communicate scientifically.

A major in psychology may be applied to a variety of career paths, including advertising, business, drama, education, journalism, law, and technology, as well as advanced graduate work in psychology, health professions, law, education, business, and many other fields.
