Technology - Quality Management and Analytics
The sequence introduces quality management tools to enhance customer and supplier relations, strategic planning, and measurement systems to improve overall organizational performance. Students will learn and apply quantitative analytical modeling techniques to solve decision problems and risk situations faced by project managers. In addition, an overview of six sigma data-driven decision making methodologies will be introduced to gain insights into advanced quality based industrial management techniques.

Risk Management and Insurance
The Risk Management and Insurance major at Illinois State University is a premier, nationally known curriculum that prepares students for careers in insurance and risk management. The Risk Management and Insurance sequence provides an in-depth study of insurance and financial services combined with the general business core curriculum.

In English Studies, multiple and interdisciplinary perspectives are used to examine and produce texts for audiences communicating in English: How do cultures shape language and how does language shape culture? How do intersections of cultures affect communication across borders? What forms can we create to connect and enter into dialogue with each other?

Special Education - Specialist in Low Vision and Blindness

• Teachers of children with visual impairments work with learners who are blind or who have low vision, from preschool through high school.
• There is a severe shortage of teachers in this area. Many students in our Low Vision and Blindness sequence do not have difficulty finding a job after they graduate.

Geography gives us an understanding of the world. It demonstrates how the physical and human systems on our planet work and connect to maintain life.

Geographers have specific and valuable skills to tackle important societal challenges facing our planet. Climate change, population pressures, geopolitical conflicts, and natural disasters all need the expertise of geographers.

Geographers are citizens of the world. When solving problems, they value diversity, inclusiveness, and international perspectives.

Typical careers for a geographer include:

• Planner (urban and environmental)
• Location Analyst
• Geographic Information Systems Specialist

Biomechanics is the study of forces and their effects on living systems.

The graduate program studies how biomechanics relate to performance enhancement and injury prevention. Students apply what they learn and serve as movement analysts in sports and workplaces. At the end of the program, they complete a thesis, independent study, or professional practice.

Depending on individual career aspirations, completion of the Biomechanics sequence prepares a student for future study at the doctoral level, for employment as a research assistant with a corporate entity, or to serve as a member of a workplace safety team.

Theatre - Design/Production
Welcome to the Production Design and Technology sequence at Illinois State University's School of Theatre and Dance! This is where your talent and skills turn into magic on stage. You will create exciting theatrical environments filled with costumes, scenery, lights and sound. We in the production and design technology sequence make it happen in our shops, in the rehearsal hall, and in the classroom. You will have hands-on opportunities to practice your chosen craft and experiment with others you never dreamed of mastering. Join in the fun at the School of Theatre and Dance, where we work boldly.

Students pursuing the Master of Music in Conducting are given extensive podium time and are mentored by dedicated and active conducting faculty. Upon graduation students are prepared to:

• Seek their doctoral degree
• Conduct school, church or community ensembles
• Conduct at a community college or university
