Public Relations
What's it take to succeed in PR? Image is almost everything, but there's a lot you'll need to learn. Suffolk University's public relations major will ground you in the business—and the art—of crafting attention-getting, thought-provoking campaigns that make a difference.

You’ll begin by learning the foundations of public relations, including its history, theory, trends, and practices. You’ll take courses in professional writing, digital and social media, web design, and event planning and promotion. All of this leads to advanced courses in planning public relations campaigns for corporate or nonprofit class clients.

When you pursue your Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling (MSMHC) at Suffolk University, you’ll gain core counseling, case conceptualization, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills. Plus, you’ll train in a variety of therapeutic approaches and techniques so you can meet your clients’ diverse needs. The general Master of Laws program is for students who have already completed a law degree and want to enhance their legal skills by focusing on a particular field or an emerging area of law.

Launched in 2012 to capitalize on the depth and breadth of Suffolk Law's curriculum, this LLM offers you maximum flexibility. You can create your own track in a field of your choosing or select courses from Suffolk's recognized areas of expertise, including dispute resolution and civil litigation, business law and financial services, biomedical and health law, intellectual property, or international law.

Advertising

You’ll learn advertising industry basics, including how to create ads and plan campaigns that appeal to industry brands and nonprofits' target markets. You’ll build ads from the ground-up, writing copy and designing visual elements.
