The Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) is a professional degree designed to prepare graduates for managerial and/or leadership roles in organizations. Graduates will develop the necessary skills and problem?solving techniques that will permit them to make an early contribution to management and eventually to move into broad, general management responsibilities at the executive level.

The M.A. in Art History provides students with training in art history, theory, and methods to prepare them for careers in art collections, education, and cultural institutions, as well as for further graduate study at the Ph.D. level. Courses are offered in art and architecture from antiquity to the present. We see art history as an integral part of social and cultural history in a global context, and our classes are interdisciplinary in scope. The major is unique in featuring small, intensive seminar-style courses. Students receive individual attention from an active, award-winning research faculty, who expose students to the most recent methodological and theoretical approaches in the field. Coursework can be supplemented by international travel and study-abroad programs sponsored by the School of Art and Art History. The Contemporary Art Museum, Graphicstudio Institute for Research in Art and the Kennedy Family Visiting Artist/Scholar program are all valuable resources contributing to course content, study and possible internship opportunities in the program.

The degree in Physical Sciences will prepare students for employment in technical fields requiring a background in one or more of the physical sciences.

The Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management, in School of Hospitality & Tourism Management (SHTL) at the Sarasota-Manatee campus location, prepares graduates for global leadership positions in the hospitality industry through foundational knowledge of hospitality operations and experiences that develop critical thinkers who promote diversity, ethical responsibility, lifelong learning, and community engagement.

Anthropology aims at comprehending people as biological and social beings. It is concerned with all forms of people through time and space. This holistic and broad-ranging view is reflected by the presence within the Anthropology program of four branches or sub-fields: Archaeology, Biological Anthropology, Cultural Anthropology, and Linguistics. Exposure to anthropological information and the cross-cultural perspective produces heightened sensitivity in the student to the world about him/her. This helps the student to adopt an intellectual posture of disciplined skepticism with respect to any scheme that purports to define and account for regularities in human life. Students majoring in other fields may find Anthropology coursework an exciting and valuable supplement to their primary academic interest.

Electrical Engineering
The Electrical Engineering major offers study in all areas fundamental to the analysis, design, and development of electrical devices and systems. ?The areas covered by the major include foundational topics such as circuits and electrical power, to applications such as Internet of Things, Smart Grid, Security,  and Data Analytics. The major offers curriculum tracks that include: Bioelectrical Systems, Communication Systems, Energy, Power and Sustainability, Mechatronics, Robotics and Embedded Systems, Micro and Nano-scale Systems and Wireless Systems. The Chemistry B.A. gives students exposure to analytical, inorganic, organic and physical chemistry while providing the flexibility to take additional elective courses. The Bachelor of Arts program is designed primarily for the liberal arts student who has an interest in careers in Geoscience education or environmental policy and law.
